Dr. Donovan at Alburtis Animal Hospital was our vet since apporximately 1992. In that period of time he took excellent care of our Shar Pei, ou, my Greyhound Rudy and my Greyhound Dudley. In all of those years, I experienced the highest quality and level of veterinary care possible. His practice is totally professional, and in those times when unfortunately needed, they exhbit the utmost in compassion. I could not recommend them highly enough. Look no further.
I know people who like this vet, but I personally was not overly impressed. I asked them to perform bloodwork on my dog for a problem and they refused, instead stating MRI's would be the next step for muscle spasms. As it turns out, the problem turned out to be a vitamin deficiency (yes she is and was on high quality food) which may have been found with a complete blood panel. I ended up rectifying the problem on my own, but refusal to do a requested test really left a sour taste in my mouth with them.
