Wonderful !!!! The Drs and the staff are the best in the Albany area. They make you feel as if your animals are their own. Warmth and kindness are what they give you with each visit. I can't say enough about how wonderful they all are. I have been a client with the Animal Hospital for over 30 yrs and would not go anywhere else. |

EXCEPTIONAL!!
I have been going to The Animal Hospital for over 20 years and have experienced nothing but incredible dedication, support, excellence, and compassion. My pets have encountered a number of chronic and acute illnesses and the staff have consistently been wonderful in the care of my animals and myself. Not only are my pets given incredible care, but the staff are very sensitive to my concerns and needs.
Ed and Lexi are highly skilled and consistently expanding their knowledge base in order to enhance the care of our animals.
I "sing their praises" to anyone who will listen and recommend them to anyone who has a friend in need. |

Albany is so lucky to have the best team of Doctors in the up state area. Experiance and insite coupled with training and knowledge are the halmarks of getting the best care for animals. They have saved and fixed four generations of dogs for my family with all kinds of problems both external and internal. Unfortunatly my pets will need help again, but I know that the only place we need to go is The Animal Hospital. Thank you so much for being there and getting it right every time. My family's health is my most important concern, and the confidence I have in the Beckers makes me sure that they are getting the best care avaliable anywhere. |

Being in the medical profession, I sought out The Animal Hospital when it came time for my dog to get spayed. They are the only local veterinarians that I found who do this procedure laparoscopically. I was very pleased with the professionalism and care that Dr. Lexi provided. I was also very impressed with the outcome of the surgery as my dog did not display any signs of discomfort and was running around as if nothing happened. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. |

My dogs have gone to Drs. Becker, Cheever & McCarthy for many years and we have nothing but praise for the doctors. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and humble. The support staff is well trained, caring and always ready to help with any concerns. I feel so lucky to have found this practice and have recommended it to many families. |

Has gone downhill the past few months. Lots of new faces and staff has changed, including the doctors. There is a long wait for apointments too. |

One of the first things I did after relocating to the Capital District 20+ years ago was research the local veterinary hospitals to locate the best quality of care for my dog. Without question, the name that was consistently recommended was The Animal Hospital. This advice has proven to be the correct choice. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is highly trained and welcoming, the state of the art equipment, and especially the veterinarians on staff are outstanding. I have been fortunate to have Dr. Ed Becker as my preferred vet. His knowledge, expertise, and compassion in maintaining my pet(s) health through the years has been without a peer. It is also a comfort to know that, when needed, Dr. Becker's skill as a surgeon is the best. It is reassuring to know that Dr.Becker and the staff at The Animal Hospital will always be ready, willing and able to provide the care we expect to receive for our most precious pets. |

My experience over the past 25 years with Dr. Ed Becker has always been more than satisfactory. His balance of sound medical advice, compassion,and superb surgical talent have never failed to help my family's pets over the years. It is comforting for not only my family to know he is always available for our pets, but also now for my children's pets as well. A second generation of our family will surely continue to reap the wisdom and compassion from Dr. Becker. The dedication to your profession is continuously made apparent with the updating of not only your facility and medical diagnostics, but with your current medical knowledge as well. I have been a client of Dr. Becker's for just about as long as I've owned pets. Despite the hospital's distance from my house (30 min.) I would never go anywhere else. The staff is always friendly and the building really is beautiful. It's great when your animals remember the staff and enjoy going there. My most recent visit was for my cat's, with many extra toes, declawing, and Dr. Becker performed the surgery fantastically and he was back on his feet in no time. |

The Animal Hospital is located in a serene, quiet area, where I know it is safe for me to walk my dog when I go for his exams. The Staff is always friendly and always very helful in getting an appt scheduled, whether it be for a yearly health visit or an emergency sick visit. The facility is emaculate - the fireplace is roaring and the coffee is brewing, and there are coloring books and crayons for the kids... it is a warm and homey environment. I am always greeted by the receptionists right away and seen by the doctor on time, and I have gotten a thorough exam for my pet at every visit. They have the latest in technology, from excellent technicians, to digital radiography. Everyone there treats my pets as if they were theirs, it's wonderful! I will always go to The Animal Hospital with my pets, and I will always recommend it to everyone I know with animals. |

I have found that Dr. McCarthy is an excellent vet. He cares for my 2 dogs, my cat, my ferret and my 2 reptiles. He is one of the few experienced exotic veterinians in the albany region and is a very kind/compassionate person. I will never go anywhere else! |

Dr Becker is an excellent doctor, who treats my two dogs and cat. He is very friendly, professional, and has stellar credentials. The veterinary staff is great as well, but the receptionists are so-so. Usually there is a moderately long wait, but I beleive it is worth it because they see many animals and give excellent care. |

The absolute BEST vet in the Capital District for GUINEA PIGS (she used to own one herself). She also owns horses, cats and dogs so she is experienced with them as well. |
