6/21/13   2     1     2     1   When I walked into this office I was speechless. It is so dirty I am surprised the department of health has not stepped in. The dr. seemed to be knowledgeable tho after my pet was examined by her the following day she had a eye infection no doubt from the uncleansed hands that were examining her! RID: 43247

9/16/11   5     3     5     5   Hands down the best and most knowledgeable vet this "veteran" pet owner and animal rescue advocate has ever met. Yeah, the place isn't decorated by tiffany's and there are no fancy televisions in the waiting rooms by I have never ever been disappointed by the care, attention and support I receive from Dr.Ader. She's one in a million. If you are looking for a flashy veterinarian who charges you exorbitant prices because there is pretty paint in the waiting room and a fancy television.. this would not be the place for you. If you want knowledge, experience, and value for your dollar then this is the place for you. Also, this vet is wonderful for those who own birds. Her level of knowledge in regard to the care and maintenance of birds could only be described as "exceptional expert". I highly recommend her and wish I could elaborate on all the times animals and myself have been gifted with her kind and wise compassion. Thank you Dr. Ader. RID: 27637

Click to report rating    1/24/11   5     4     4     5   Dr. Ader is a wonderful, caring vet. We brought our boxer to her several years ago due to a fibrocartilegenous infarction that left her mostly paralyzed. Another local vet had recommended putting her to sleep. Dr. Ader recommended rehabilitation therapy and the dog lived a life of reasonably high quality for another 3 years (was able to walk again). We bring our two dogs and two cats to her. All like her and are happy to go there. The animals know she really cares about them. Facility could be larger with better parking, but you cannot find a better vet. RID: 22321

Click to report rating    12/21/09   4     1     2     2   The office is filthy and outdated. She may know what she is talking about under some situations but when I brought my dog in repeatedly for over a year with ear problems and shaking his head- he also had a lump behind his ear that would grow and shrink she treated him for an ear infection over and over again. The lump was clearly BEHIND his ear not IN it and yet she treated him for an ear infection until one after seeing him multiples times during that year she finally realized that she had been wrong all along- my dog had cancer and ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about these things know that if you have a lump the comes and goes it is probably cancer- she looked horrified when she finally realized it. She referred me the the cancer clinic in Mass but it was way too late- after many thousands of dollars he passed away. I would never recommend this vet to ANYONE!!! RID: 15842

Click to report rating    3/1/09   5     1     5     5   I love Dr. Ader! i happened upon her b/c my iguana was sick, and after a bad experience with my dogs vet i decided to bring my dogs to her as well. she is very affordable and she really cares about the animals. she also will not give un-needed meds or shots. she has even helped me out with my foster dogs if i bring them to her. the table is quite high for a large dog, but the staff is always willing to help lift or you can just let them do it. they really need to update some of the technical aspects of the office such as obtaining a copy machine and a fax machine, and parking is really bad... but other then those few things this is a GREAT vet. Click to report rating    9/8/08   4     3     4     5   I've only been to dr ader a couple of times. Dr. Truesdale was my regular vet. I really like Dr. Truesdale as a vet but i find some of his staff including his wife arent very persaonble and sometimes rude. They've also gave my dog a vaccine once with out checking w me 1st. Dr Ader was very nice and seemed to know what shes was talking about. I have 2 friends that have been going to her for years and RAVED about her. The only thing I wasnt crazy about was lifting up my dogs onto the table since one is 100 lbs and the other 80. Her prices are very reasonable, I feel she does this b/c she cares about animals not just the potential profit. RID: 9925

3/29/07   1     1     3     5   She is a very lazy vet and she has lazy staff, but she knows what she is talking about. She needs to get updated with some equipment, makeing the owners pick up there own dogs to put them on a table is very hard for me considering I have 2 dogs over 100lbs. Other than that she is okay. Parking is hard and the place is small. RID: 3208

Click to report rating    3/20/07   5     4     5     5   I've taken all my pets (dog, cat, and birds) to Dr. Ader, and she continually impresses me with the depth and breadth of her knowledge of all species. She has adeptly cared for all of our animals, often surprising me with diagnoses, and always being right. She has a very calm, sage-like demeanor, even when the animals get worked up. Office visits are very affordable, and I'm able to get evening and weekend appointments, as well. RID: 3094

Click to report rating    1/14/07   4     4     4     5   I have taken my animals to Dr Ader for years. I was immediately impressed by her dedication ie.staying overnight with a sick pt. She is held in high regard by other area Vets! She is also very cost conscious. But most importantly she has always seen my sick animals asap. RID: 1966

Click to report rating    1/4/07   1     1     3     1   I went there once because my regular vet was closed and I had an urgent problem with a hamster. I've been breeding these things for years and am familiar with their health issues and any inherited issues they may have. She wouldn't listen to me and blew anything off I said. I am 29 yrs old and she talked down to me like I was 12. She didn't know what was wrong and kept saying "could be this, could be that". He was so weak and pretty much dying and she acted afraid to touch him. She handled him way too roughgly, thing can barely move and she picks it up by his tail instead of gently cupping her hands around him. Then she dropped him on the table and poked him with a pen!! From the stress, he went into a seizure so she held him down with the pen. He never went into a seizure before this. When he stopped, she gave him an anti-seizure injection even though she was the one who caused it. And she was telling me she would like to keep him overnight so she can keep an eye on him and give him RID: 1792

Click to report rating    1/4/07   5     4     5     5   A very patient, competent animal Doctor.Having two cats and a chihuahua, one cat being diabetic, had me at her place of business often. All size pets and birds were skillfully attended and treated by her. You've heard of people with green thumbs for plants, Well!, Dr Ader has a golden thumb for animals. RID: 1776
