I had my 1-year-old puppy spayed here last week and the care was second to none, absolutely excellent. As a precaution, we were told she should rest and avoid major activity for a while but the dog has so much energy its hard to keep her down. Within 48 hours of the operation she was playing as hard as usual and has not experienced a setback of any kind - no pain and the incision has held up beautifully. Thanks Falston Vet Clinic! |

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Zantop for years even though we now live two hours away in another state. Our boxer Gus loves him and actually gets excited when he smells the clinic getting near. Last time we kenneled at the clinic over Christmas break, Dr. Zantop came in on his days off to check on the animals and even played with Gus. Facilities are great, staff is nice and consistent, and Dr. Zantop is a top rate veterinarian who truly cares about the animals and his clients. Can't say enough nice things. |

I had a yellow crowned Parrot; he was a very sick bird. Puppy (crazy name for a bird, I know) was their at least once a week. Dr. Zantop would call me personally, not his assistant or his secretary. When it was finally time to put little man down, we were with him when he did the most heartbreaking thing any Dr. has to do, and he was so good with him. I would recommend him to anyone who has birds or not. Just a wonderful Dr. thank you for everything Don. |

I heard good things about Dr. Zantop so thought I'd try him out. I had 2 visits with Dr. Ho and 1 with Dr. Zantop. Dr. Zantop was great - very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. He was kind and gentle to my bird and puppy. Their prices are very high. However, when I dropped off two 4 month old rescued pets to be spayed (using the spay certificate from the shelter) I was phoned 2 hours later and told that Dr. Ho would not spay them without having a rabies shot, which she would do for a charge of over $100 (2 office visit charges and 2 rabies shots). This was ridiculous since Dr. Zantop had told me earlier that rabies was not required for spaying. I told them if they would waive the office visit, I'd pay for the shots, but they wouldn't budge. It felt like this was her way to make money off of the reduced profit from the spay certificate. Needless to say, I picked up my pets and now use another vet. I would use Dr. Zantop ONLY for my bird - no other vet there. |

Dr. Zantop was recommended to me for my birds, by my dogs veterinarian, she said he was the best in the field. Excellent care from him and the staff. Most of the front desk except for one individual is helpful and pleasant. |

I've been taking my cats and dogs there for a number of years. Always get great service, and the staff are very friendly and caring. They were especially helpful, kind, and considerate when we've had to put animals to sleep due to illness. I've worked primarily with Drs. Long and Rodney, both of whom I highly recommend. Dr. Zantop, the chief vet of the practice, is a well-known avian vet and much in demand; since I don't own birds, I don't often see him...but others I know who have speak very highly of him. |
