I have both a dog and a cat. as any other owner, my pets had some health issues(some easy and some more serious).I have to mention the professional approach of the staff and the doctors. whenever my dog or cat did not feel good and I had to make an appointment, I would get the appointment at the same day even if it meant that the doctor was double booked. one of the doctors that work there is Dr Hughes and she is one of the best doctors I have ever met. if I could rate her as a professional and as a person, i would give her "6". love the clinic, the staff and the doctors there. I want everybody to know that. |

Dr. Enna Hughes is very knowledgeable and passionate about the care/services she provides. Other staff also very helpful. My most recent visits relate to my cat Chloe who has diabetes and my son's cat Bing who died suddenly over Christmas 2012. I have used this clinic for about 20 yrs with four different cats. |

I have had a dog for 8 years now, and have been through a number of different vets. That is until I landed at this clinic with Dr. Hughes. She runs a first class operation. Dr. Hughes and her staff are courteous, professional and truly care for the well being of my dog Oscar, and even myself at times. It provides myself with significant comfort that my boxer is in great hands when we visit Dr. Hughes, and Oscar and the rest of our family are thankful for her!!! |

I can't believe that no one told me about this clinic in richmond hill at bathurst and 16th avenue. We had nothing but trouble with other clinics always sending us for more and more tests. Dr. Hughes did a thorough research and was able to diagnose our baby with diabetes. We now know we can look after Sabbie and she will live a long happy life. thank you Dr Hughes. |

The best vet clinic I ever try. Dr. Hughes amazing. She was gentle with our older cat. She made the tests to know what was making him sick.He has digestive problems but now after Dr. Hughes recommend special food he has been feeling much better and does not poo everywhere only in his box. we are so happy we found that clinic and especially Dr. Hughes. We recommend to all our friends come here with their pets. Dr. Hughes cares very much to help pets get healthy. Thank you Dr. Hughes |

My dog just got her teeth cleaned by Dr. Hughes and I was very happy with the result. I trust Dr. Enna Hughes and have been recommending her to my friends. |

I have to agree that I have noticed some changes... Dr. Hughes is great but I am not impressed with how rude the front staff is now and I found Dr. Rattray is very rude and short with her clients...I feel like she talks down to me. Going elsewhere. |

I moved clinics and found Don Head as I live down the road. From day one I and my three dogs have been treated with the utmost care. Dr. Hughes and her staff are always happy to oblige and make every visit as special as can be. I like that I'm never rushed and that they take the time to listen to my needs. They are knowledgeable and thorough, polite and friendly. I highly recommend them. |

Have been a client at this clinic for 6 years & Have always found Dr Hughes very efficient, knowledgable & compassionate. She has looked after my cats as if they were her own. We have always had a favourable experience with Dr. Hughes & her staff. |

Amazing vets. treated my cats like gold. Went through every detail with me and helped me understand what illnesses and what needed to be done after surgury. I am not to sure about prices, but for me having 3 cats and them all needing care, it gets very expensive. |

I would highly recommened Don Head Village Animal Clinic. Their Vets are knowledgable, patient, and understanding. I've brought my last cat for all of his 18 years, and my new cat to them with confidence. My only issue is the prices. I have not visited other vets so I wouldn't know if the prices are normal, but they seem a bit high....having said that, they have been very nice in giving free samples instead of medication, which helps considerably. |

I have been a client at this clinic for many, many years and would only entrust this clinic with my pets. The staff are great - I feel like they are a part of my extended family. Recently, one of my Black Russian Terriers had to undergo surgery to remove a lump on his tail and I know that my dog was cared for with the best care possible. Whenever I have any concerns, I am always able to get an answer quickly and never feel rushed or unimportant. Also, whenever I am worried about one of my dogs, this clinic is attentive to my concerns and addresses them thoroughly. These are the qualities that anyone should be looking for in a veterinary clinic, if they consider their pets to be a part of their family. (Also, the receptionist has beautiful hair and is always smiling.) |

After my dog was mis-diagnosed by several vets, I took him to this clinic because I had read so many good online reviews. I saw Dr. Rattray - she is young but WOW does she know her stuff! She correctly diagnosed my dog after one visit and now he's better than ever! I won't trust my boy with any other vet from now on! |

Dr. Hughes and Dr. Rattray are great. They and their staff are caring and compassionate and responsive to concerns. They seem very up-to-date in their knowledge of veterinary medicine and they are willing to refer to and consult first-rate experts on complex issues. They treated our little Maltese for a difficult impacted anal gland with an antibiotic-resistant infection (MRSA). They took exactly the steps to treat our dog that the world's leading expert recoommended. They even consulted with him. Most importantly, they sent us to specialist surgeons to perform the actual surgery, which can very very tricky in dogs as small as our Maltese. |

the people here are great: gentle, patient, caring. They were wonderful with our new puppy... took lots of time to answer all our questions. Dr. Hughes was so gentle with the shot that our puppy sidn't even notice that he was vaccinated. We were impressed. We got very good nutritional advice - our puppy loves the new food and has no more stomach problems and is growing much better now. The staff that answer the phone are good too. We had questions about training and they were answered and we had great suggestions. We are so glad we came there - all the online reviews recommeded them and they were right! I can recommend thic clinic to anyone who wants a vet who really cares about pet and their family. Five Stars***** |

Dr. Hughes is great! I like the fact that she gave the vaccines and draw blood in my presence. She didn't take my dog to the back of the clinic like most vets do. My dog never left my sight. I knew exactly what was done and how it was done. My dog was happy and so was I!!! |

We had our first visit with Dr. Hughes last week for a complete annual checkup for my 8.5 yrs old Lab. The staff there are very friendly and Dr. Hughes is very professional and nice. She spent over an hr looking at my dog, checking on him and doing some examinations. I suggested to put my dog on some kind of supplement for his joints as he is a senior dog now. However Dr. Hughes explained to me that it is not necessary and it will be a waste of money plus it's not gonna benefit my dog. it is very important for a vet to stand at the owner's pt view when it comes to decision making. Overall, very professional and nice service. We went home with our boy happily! |

I have been with Donhead for the past several years and have always received great service, with great concern for our 3 cats. They are quick to not overcharge us and their pleasant personalities and knowledge keep us going back again and again. |

Dr. Hertzberg and her staff are amazing. They are kind, caring, professional and very knowledge. My family is very lucky to have them so close to our home. In one particular incident, our cat fractured its jaw in two places. We didn't know this until we came home from work later in the evening. I called the office within minutes of their closing. They knew I was very upset and didn't want to refer me to the emergency clinic. They stayed an hour after their closing, and made special arrangements to perform surgery on our cat the next morning. In addition, they did an amazing job! I wouldn't go anywhere else. |
