Franklin Lakes Animal l Hospital has been treating my dogs for years the staff is professional ,courteous and caring toward your pet and the owners. I had very old dogs and the staff went out of their way to accommodate my pets needs. I recommend them highly, sometimes they run a little late do to the emergency care they give as needed, they can be a little pricey but what isn't these days. You can not put a price a on good health care of a loved one. |

First visit was with a vet who didn't have enough practical knowledge working with dogs - clumsy administering a vax in the puppy series. I do NOT like that at this establishment, they want to do anything beyond giving a shot in "the back room." Under no circumstances can you be present (even if you want to pay for a vet visit and be with your pet in a private room). In my case, with a docile dog, that is ridiculous as he doesn't cause problems anyway. For larger, stubborn dogs, that is fine as they probably need people to help; but with smaller dogs and cats, that is "shady" of the practice, to say the LEAST. Second vet wanted to administer fluids under the skin without telling us; she simply took my puppy and walked out the door saying she would be back. I went out and stopped her and said I needed to be fully aware of what she was doing. For the educated pet owner, that is not going to work. Hope their insurance malpractice premiums are up to date with these practices! Expensive. |
