I have been here twice and my impression is favorable. My appointment is at the time it's scheduled for. Dr. Koroknai gives me straightforward, relevant information about my pet. The staff are friendly to me and my pet. They gave me a detailed estimate of tests that may need to be done. The prices seem affordable. I think this is the kind of place I can do business with. I'm hoping that this service continues and if it does, my search for a good veterinary hospital stops here. |

Brought my cat in today to find out she has Pyrometra, and in in urgent need of surgery or she could die..you know what they told me"we cant tell other people to wait to do a surgery for your cat, you;ll have to wait 3 weeks, or you can just go look for another vet" yah ...and that was said after they pocketed $400 for xrays and bloodwork, apparently the reception books emergency appointments when the vet is on vacation for 3 weeks, but fails to mention all that until after the fact..they then informed me ts a tech on staff and he cannot perform surgery's.... currently I am now looking for a vet to do the surgery., you would think they would give back the $400...nope....thieves ... apparently when the owner is away., the staff ROB |

Dr Koroknai helped care for our cats for 5 years. His care and compassion was great, and we always got the impression he truly cared for the animals he looked after. He was always patient and tolerant, both towards the animals, as well as their owners. One of our cats, sadly, came down with a rare condition and had to be euthanized. Dr. Koroknai helped our cat pass on without pain and stress. Everyone at the clinic does seem to really like animals, and while the staff may sometimes seem aloof on the phone, in reality it is usually because they are busy attending to patients at the clinics, signing them in, processing payments, getting together medications & explaining prescriptions. |

Vet very good with cats - always had good experiences. You can call in to follow-up (instead of booking another appointnment - hence saves money). Today, I called because my cat got injured in a fight. Couldn't see me before Tuesday so recommended another vet to me for an emergency appointment and said they would send any info as required - I find this very professional. |

The lobby could use an update but other than that I have zero complaints. I was a fairly new cat owner when I brought my kitten in to be spayed. So needless to say I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Koroknai was amazing and so kind to me and my cat. Everything to be done was explained clearly. The front desk staff were so patient with my many questions and phone calls while she stayed overnight after surgery. When a minor complication came up after surgery I wasn't charged for the visit and it turned out my cat was just fine. The prices are so affordable as well. I based my decision to go to the Bathurst Dupont Animal Hospital based on the reviews here and I don't regret that decision in the least. Dr. Koroknai and his staff are amazing! |

Some people believe that there are angels that walk among us, disguised as humans. Last night, two of those angels, with a calm compassion, and a genuine love of animals, euthanized my very sick boy Riley. There are no words that can convey the gratitude I have for you, Mr. Dr, Koroknia and Mrs. Dr. Korknai. May the world return to you the compassion you have shown to my Riley boy, a million times over. Please, PLEASE continue practicing for as long as you can. The day you retire will be a sad day for animals. |

You walk in the door, and yes you see that the clinic needs updating, but it's quite functional. Amazing staff, despite it being busy on Monday, they were on the ball in making sure people were checked in. I brought a feral cat in to be neutered. They called me to pick him up, but when I got there, they told me he was suffering a rare complication. I was freaking, but they kept me calm. I had to go back on Tuesday to pick the cat up. They'd given him injections, antibiotics, and they were gracious enough not to charge for that or the overnight stay. The head vet, he's the best one there. He was the one taking care of this cat, and didn't complain when the cat swiped at him. I'm not sure if it was him or his wife who got bit by the cat, but they didn't complain, which I was amazed about. I recommend this clinic to anyone. They are such great people over there. The cat could have died, but they kept him alive and took great care of him. Thank you to all of the staff there. |

My dog is in serious pain today (tues). She had been in an accident last year and this weekend she seems to have re-injured herself. So I called Bathurst Dupont Animal Hospital just a few minutes ago and asked if I could PLEASE bring in my dog for some urgent pain management and they said first chance to come in is next monday! Sorry BDAH but you should remove "HOSPITAL" from your name when you aren't one. A week to see a dog in pain just does not cut it. |

I am so glad that I went to this vet clinic for a second opinion on my cat's dental procedure. Dr. Koroknai is knowledgeable and spoke to me in plain language. More importantly, unlike the first vet clinic I went to, Bathurst Dupont does not charge you for uneccessary procedures. My cat has since had his canine extraction and is doing well. I highly recommend this clinic and will be taking my cats here from now on. |

We had to put my beloved cat to sleep due to kidney failure today. We had been taking our pets (we have 1 other cat and 1 dog) to St. Clair Vet and don't have good things to say about it. The doctors and staff that work there are rude, rushed and do not give thorough explanations for the high fees they charge for their services. We read great reviews about Dr. Koroknai so we decided to take our ailing cat in to see him and we're very glad we did. He was superb at thoroughly explaining the condition our cat was in and the options that were available. He was empathetic, patient and a realist. His staff were very accommodating, patient and understanding. We can't say enough great things about Dr. Koroknai and his staff. I would recommend this clinic to everyone! Our sweetheart Oreo went peacefully and painlessly today. He will be dearly missed. Bathurst/Dupont Animal Hospital is such a professional place and their pricing is very reasonable for the quality service you get. |

I can't say enough good things about this vet. I have been dealing with Dr. A. Koroknai for 3 years now. My cat was diagnosed with kidney disease 3.5 years ago and my former vet gave her 6 months to 2 years max, that was over 3 years ago now and with Dr. K's care she is doing amazing still! I consider myself SO lucky to have found them. They offer a lot of unique and affordable homeopathic treatments in addition to the traditional meds that I feel has made a huge difference. You can really tell that Dr. K has a genuine love for your animal and he takes the time to explain everything. My cat is less than friendly and previous vets have not known how to handle her but she actually is so good with him. I would give this vet 2 huge thumbs up!!Heather Koroluk |

I've heard great things about this clinic, however My experience with Dr. S was not great. Within 5 minutes of the appointment (before even examining my dog) he was recommending surgery for a torn ACL. He was speaking very technically to me as though I'd have no idea, and didn't need to concern myself with what that actually meant. He barely interacted with my dog and then gave my partner's puppy a multivaccine when all he wanted was a rabies booster. Unfortunately we didn't notice until we were home. And to top it off, the receptionist was rude to us. I'm not planning on going back. |

the only good thing about this vet is their prices. great prices. neuturing only costs me around $200, shots and rabbie together around $100, very resonable compare to other vets when i called to ask for their quote. but i don't like all their vets, there are 3 vets, the woman is the worst, the husband is the best. However, i don't really see that the care too much about my dog, they just do their job, and off you go. so if you are looking for price, this is definitely a good one, but if you are looking for a vet who can genuiely cares for your dog, then this is not it. |

This vet hospital was recommended to me by a friend & someone at work (strangers to eachother). The first visit with my cat was in 97 or 98. The thing that brings me back to this hospital is I noticed how much they cared for animals. I believe they treat my cat as their own. When my cat is sick Bathurst Dupont is the only hospital I trust. Dr. K is the best vet I know & the staff is the most caring. |

I have been using this clinic with my puppy for the past 6 months and originally picked this vet because of the great ratings. They do offer exceptional monetary value - they are significantly cheaper than other vets in Toronto. Dr K is brilliant - very knowledgeable, friendly, caring, patient , does not rush the appointment, answers all your questions, makes welcome suggestions, and does not try to 'up sell' you. BUT he is not there as much any more and Dr Saini is definitely not as good. Dr S seems to rush the appointment, doesn't explain things well, doesn't seem that caring - I often leave him feeling confused and not satisfied. The receptionists are friendly but there are too many of them, so they often don't know what is another staff member has already told you and their veterinary knowledge is not great. The clinic itself is simple but sufficient. I would recommend this clinic if you need a cheaper option and try to only see Dr K. |

The prices are very reasonable, and we've been going to this clinic for a long time... but now that Dr. K. isn't there every day, things are going downhill. There are some afternoons that there is not a single vet on the premises! Dr. Saini is not nearly as clear about explaining things as Dr. K. My dog had a bad episode from a drug interaction - the vets obviously didn't check the file to see what drugs he was already on. I'm seriously considering changing vets even though I'll have trouble affording the new one. But I don't want to compromise my pet's care. I'm becoming fed up with this clinic. |

Simple small vet office, just like they should be! Small clinic with great staff and they are very reasonable with their costs. I once had a cat in to be spayed that I had adopted from the humane society (they told me she hadn't been spayed), and when Dr K took her in and opened her up, she had been spayed already. He was wonderful and understanding, and charged me only the most basic of fees. They're great with the animals, big and small, and always friendly! |

The facility is dire need of a make over. I don't quite know why people rate the facility so high, because at first glance, it's quite crummy. As far as the staff goes, the receptions was good, but the doctor used to mark what shots my dog needs to get on the next visit. Once, he gave him the shots that he got during the prior visit, and then the doctor proceeded to convince me that those shots had to be re-done. |

Its been so many years since I saw Dr. Koroknai with my two siamese -- but I'm back in town and I'm looking him up, so, obviously, I was happy with him. Plus, I worked with Dr. Koroknai when he was in training prior to this clinic -- so, there you go. He must be my kind of vet! |

I've been going to this vet for about 18 years with all my animals. He's very honest. A few years ago when my dog was very ill, she started on some expensive medication for her heart problem. Sadly, she died a couple of days after starting her medication. She was very ill. I didn't suspect the medication had anything to do with her death. Anyway, the vet gave me back my money for the medication, which I really appreciated. |

I am currently a coop student at this veterinary clinic, and I am extremely impressed with the way they run things. The staff are friendly and helpful, and obviously care about every animal that comes through the door. Drs. Koroknai are very knowledgeable and extremely patient with the animals. Not only is everyone at this clinic excellent with clients and animals, but also with the neighbourhood. Children come in to see the animals after school, and to get candy from the front desk. One woman often comes in with the dog in the mornings, during their walk, just to say hi to the staff. Everyone knows and loves the dog. Every time I am there I'm amazed at how efficient they can be, while still taking extremely good care of the animal, and making them feel comfortable. I definitely recommend these two vets, and their clinic, to anyone who wants excellent care, service that goes far beyond the call of duty, and reasonable prices. |

My previous vet was gravely ill and before she died she gave me Dr.A. Koroknai's name as the best Vet in the city. That was almost 20 years ago. When my husband brought his dog from Hawaii Dr.K came outside and got into the back seat of the car and spent 10 minutes talking to this dog who had just endured a long and probably frightening trip. He took him inside and to this day, our boy, now almost 13 doesn't complain about his weekly injections or daily meds. When our old cat went into organ failure, Dr. Marta K looked after us and Pebbles until Pebbles passed away, and then cried with us. No-one said to stop crying or try to control ourselves even with a waiting room filled with people and pets. That calm compassion got us through that awful day. We still have the old dog and the 3 younger cats never flinch or act up when going to Dr. K. He truly is the very best. If not for him and his gentle demeanor and realistic pricing, there would be many pets getting no medical attention. |

We searched many clinics for an economical facility to neutered our dog and we were lucky to find Bathurst Dupont Animal Hospital. We were able to make an appointment for the procedure within a few weeks. The staff was great, very helpful and accomodating. The whole process went so very smoothly and our puppy came home with us the same day. |

Mr.-Dr. Koroknai, Mrs.-Dr. Koroknai, and their team are the best vets in the city, hands-down. They promote the health of your pet without trying to sell you anything you don't really need, and will do everything they can to accommodate emergencies. Mr.-Dr. Koroknai has been our family vet for over 15 years, and I always recommend him and his clinic to anyone who asks. I will never, ever go anywhere else while he's still practicing. |

Dr. Koroknai is hands-down Toronto's best vet. I went to him after another vet in the Annex tried to charge me over $300 in 'medications' after one normal blood test (I brought my dog in bc she was lethargic). When my dog got very, very sick (from a longstanding heart problem), he planned to take her to his home that night, just in case anything happened. Sadly, my dog died that afternoon, and he and his staff were so kind and professional, I will never forget it. Even my parents' crochety, grumpy old cat liked him, and he didn't like many people, least of all strangers. He just has a way with animals, it's a gift, I've never seen anything like it before. I still take my dogs to him, he never overcharges, or tries to sell you procedures your dog doesn't need. He is also very easy to talk to, he was very patient with my Dad, whose English is sometimes hard to understand. I don't trust any other vet with my dogs except him, and I've been to many vets in TO, trust me. |

The 3rd vet my dog visited over the years and cost low and staff was friendly. They don't over charge for simple procedure or make you buy pet supplies. My dog actually felt comfortable going in the examination room which I never seen. He always head for the exit when it is his turn, but not this time. |

Dr. A. Koroknai was recommended to me by my friend and I'll forever be grateful to her. My poor little dog had been misdiagnosed by my previous vet. Not convinced of the plan of action I went with my friend to see Dr. A. Koroknai. Our relationship only lasted 2 months as my dog's little heart stopped beating after exploratory surgery to get to the root of the sickness, but I knew from our first visit that he was going to become my new vet! He didn't jump on the previous wagon and suggest several hundreds of dollars of useless procedures; he tried several strengths of antibiotics before resorting to the surgery; and on the day of the surgery, kept me informed hourly. Unfortunately I didn't make it back in time to see my doggie alive, but I know that we all did all we could do and he didn't suffer. I'm sorry I cried so much in his office, but I'll never forget Dr. K. & his team & will recommend them to anyone I know with pets. Thanks, Connie (for Stinky) |

Atilla rocks! He so obviously and completely cares for animals and their well being. I cannot say the same for another vet at the same location but I forget his name. I highly recommend Atilla. My cat had a horrible experience at another animal clinic near-by that put a leather mask (without eye holes, etc.) over her face because she was extremely nervous- this only made matters worse, my point in mentioning this is when I brought her to Atilla he sat on the floor and waited for her to come to him and then he sat with her, speaking calmly and petting her- she loves him :) |

My oldest cat is 13 and was spayed there as a kitten and I continue to trust them to this day. Unlike some vets they do not play on pet owners' emotions and convince people to spend thousands of dollars on unneccesary procedures or gouge them for overpriced services. For e.g a cat teeth cleaning at B-D was literally hundreds less than other places for the same procedure, and she was well taken care of. I recently moved to Mississauga and I cannot find a vet service that compares to Bathurst-Dupont so I still drive my cats in to Toronto for care! I would highly recommend Bathurst-Dupont to any pet owners who are looking for high quality care at reasonable prices. |

Fantastic vets, reasonable prices, caring staff. Dr. Attila Koroknai is always willing to answer my questions, never makes me feel rushed. He even gets down on the floor to work with my large dogs! Very gentle with our animals, and is never upset with my big guy, who gets (ahem) quite growly when getting his blood taken. We've been taking our animals to Bathurst-Dupont for over 20 years, and would never switch! |

This vet is great! They took me on as a co-op student in highschool a few years ago. Really fantastic people. They'll answer all your questions and help you no matter what. There are actually two vets working here, they're a husband and wife. The wife is great, and believes a lot in hollistic natural medicine, whereas the husband is straight and easy to talk to. Great vet hospital, they gave me my start in the animal world and I've always trusted them with my pets! |
