I found an excellent rabbit-savvy vet in Julie Blossom, DVM here. Most vets don't know much about bunnies, but Julie is extremely knowledgeable & keeps up with the latest in lagomorph veterinary practice. She has successfully extracted cuterebra from 1 of my buns, treated an abcess, snuffles, trimmed overgrown rabbit teeth & referred me to a local dental vet specialist. I can recommend her highly for rabbits. Smith Vet is a hi-tech animal hospital w/ lots of expensive equipment & NOT cheap. Smith doesn't book appointments, but has many vets on hand at all times. They also have extended hours and accept animals for boarding. |

The managers are money hungry that want to exploit the sick animals. Various procedures were performed on my sick dog without authorization and they would not let us leave with my dog. They took my sick pet from my arms and held him for ransom. Their diagnosis was wrong and they still are demanding payment. |
