Click to report rating    6/8/11   5     4     5     5   First time using this clinic was today. The entire staff was amazing, courteous, and knowlegable from start to finish. My dog was very sick and the staff was able to fit him in right away even though we'd never been there before and didn't have an appointment. Best value around Stafford that I've seen so far as far as quality and price. I'd highly recommend this clinic to anyone else. Only problem was the waiting room was slightly too small but they got to all their patients promptly so no one had to wait very long. RID: 25487

Click to report rating    4/6/11   2     2     2     2   It depends on who you see and if they are money hungry. Please read BOTH experiences. Good experience: In 1998 my cat had a very high temp, lethargic and wouldn't eat for days. They said they would have to do exploratory surgery for a possible blockage because the x-rays showed her intestines balled up. I didn't have much money and the vet gave me 2 life saving secrets. Force feed my cat chicken baby food with a syringe to push a possible blockage through and so she would have some calories. Also to use hairball medicine that you can buy at PetsMart - This helps grease up a blockage to help it move through. I used both methods and my cat got better within a few days! BAD EXPERIENCE: A few months ago I took a stray cat in to see what a bulge was on her belly. They took a sample and told me she had cancer! $1,100 operation! 2nd opinion at another place told me it was just a hernia. I got the hernia operation AND a spay done at the same time at other vet for only $600. No cancer found! RID: 24164

Click to report rating    4/17/09   5     5     4     5   This hospital is very busy and often crowded. However, this is because you can't find better vets or quality care around. It's worth the wait! RID: 12485

Click to report rating    3/6/09   5     5     5     5   Excellent Veterinarian Hospital. The Doctors and staff go the extra mile for both the animals and their families. We have used AGAH for both medical and boarding for over 5 years and highly recommend them. Our experiences have been mostly with Dr. Guth and Dr. Metzger and they are both very informative and compassionate Veterinarians. RID: 11989

Click to report rating    7/31/07   5     5     4     5   Great Clinic that really cares about your pet. As a military member that has travelled around the United States, this is the best clinic found thus far. Very good staff, clean facilities. Doctors spend as much time with you and your pet as required. They literally will crawl on the ground to make your pet comfortable! RID: 5432

Click to report rating    6/24/07   5     5     4     5   We have had many wonderful experiences with the staff at Aquia Garrison Animal Hospital. They were kind to us when we had to put our hampster down. They were excited when we got a new puppy. When the puppy stopped eating, they were patient and throrough in their diagnosis. Consulting with other doctors and staff members about a diagnosis is common. They respect each other's opinions. The doctor himself repeatedly called me with updates with her surgical recovery as he discovered that the puppy ate a tennis ball and it wouldn't pass through the digestive tract. When the puppy got grumpy (after feeling better)one staff member really took a shine to her and made it her mission to make the puppy eat and go out like a lady. They are great with our senior pets and take time to really listen and feel for any problems in their achey bodies. I have heard only positive comments about this fine group of veterinarians and their staff. RID: 4814
