I feel very comfortable bring my furry babies here. Not only do I feel like they really care about my dogs but the are very friendly toward me. I don't mind seeing any of the doctors and it makes it convenient getting an appointment. Thank you!! |

I went here because they were close and I needed some ear wash for my dog. They asked to see her first. After seeing my dog, they re-diagnosed her condition and quickly resolved it. I had been treating her for years for the wrong condition. I love this place! Reasonably priced as well. |

I scheduled an appointment with Animal Advocates simply because my regular vet didn't have availability when I needed an appointment. Animal Advocates Veterinary Hospital provided me and my great dane, Drake with superior service. Dr. Bellisario not only took her time but was compassionate and knowledgeable in regards to my pet's needs. I always thought I got good service at my previous vet, but Animal Advocates went above and beyond my expectations. I left there thinking...do they take human patients? It was that good. |

I have been so pleased with this animal hospital. The staff and Doctors and compassionate and sincere in their care. I equate the service to a human's medical facility... there is nothing second class about this office. Each time my cat has needed bloodwork, I recieve a personal call from the doctor in a day or less. The appointments are well organized and I never have to wait or stress out my pet longer than 5 or 10 minutes. I never feel rushed when I am talking to the doctor, or the staff. I am always comfortable in calling with any questions for the best care of my pet.Thanks AAV, Love, SweetPea and Hoshi :) |

Excellent clinic. I started as a patient w/my older dog who was having some issues. One day afterwork he was not right I called & they had me bring him right in. He need emergeny surgery. Dr. Overla and Heather performed his surgery right away, despite the fact that it was after closing time. Dr. Overla called me right after to let me know his status. It turned out he had cancer and the entrie staff was so caring & supportive during his care. They always answered my questions & fit my dog in for appts. I take my new puppy there now and would not think of going any place else. They always put the pets needs first and give excellent advice. |

We took our Cocker Spaniel into AAVH for immediate care and he was fit into the schedule on a walk-in basis. Dr. Bellisario was very attentive to our dog and very kind. She was very thorough in examining him and gave him medications that helped with his condition. We were very pleased and transferred our dog's care to this vet. The establishment is very oganized, attractive and clean. |

Our Family has one dog that is frightened every time we have gone to the vet previously. She used to have to sit in the car until it was her turn and she would just shake and shed. She made a huge fuss about even entering the building. Since we have been coming here to Dr Overly and Birley at Animal Advocates, she is doing much better. She loves the staff and willingly enters the building. This is a high compliment to the staff from the way she used to be. The wait time is also much shorter which is less stressful for her as well and the staff is excellent. Both vets are kind and caring. Thank you for everthing you do! |

This is the best clinic for your pet.I have been to others and the care and honesty of the physicians don't compare to these physicians. I trust them with my animal and know they are doing everything right. They take the time and explain to you and never make you feel like a number and a dollar sign. They really care. Love them all. |

Great veterinary practice - love Dr. Birley, but they are all excellent vets. Excellent animal care, spotless faciities, great communication with "mom's and dad's". |

I have been using veterinarians in Detroit area for 50 years and Animal Avocates are by far the best. after your first visit you know they love your pet and will take Excellent care of them. My Bijon loves to go now and used to be afraid of the vet. |

We love AAVH and highly recommend people take their pets there. We have a very large dog with a lot of health issues and have had difficulty finding a vet hospital that was accomodating, friendly, professional, and knowledgable. I am so glad we didn't settle on other hospitals in the area because we are so happy with the care AAVH has provided. |

We started at AAVH as emergency patients, Dr. Overla squeezed our kitten in at the end of her work day and was nothing but kind, helpful, and knowledgable. We stayed as patients, thankfully. Our 2 new kittens were suffering with multiple parasites, infections and problems. The staff and all 3 drs. have helped us since Sept. 2010, and continue to do so as our kittens continue to have health issues. The Drs all take time to answer questions, and never have a problem fitting us in as more issues arise. They are practical and compassionate and offer multiple options as each new health issue arises. We trust them completely with the care of our kittens, from worms to heart and liver issues. They show they care, and give thorough explanations and try new solutions to problems not faced before. (Recurring giardia parasite for months: cured with new treatment measures. Kitten scratching at neck biopsy sutures not able to be corrected by an e-collar: Dr. Birley made one from tube sock. |

I would recommend this vet clinic to everyone. The staff is very knowlegeable and plesant. I never have a problem getting an appointment. The whole staff truely cares about my pet. |
