I have been entrusting my cats to Dr. Kader for over 12 years...He really cares about his patients and responsible owners too. I've never had a problem with my cat receiving her cortisone shot for her severe allergies...It's been a life saver actually...otherwise, she would be scabby all over since it's very difficult to pinpoint an exact allergy in a cat without spending thousands of dollars which I don't have...but maybe making a different appointment for the cortisone might be wise so as not to invade their system with their annual shots at the same time...They won't charge the visit fee in this case, since a tech can do it...The staff is awesome & their prices very competitive..I have referred many people & none were dissapointed...They are a compasionate team & really helped me through hard decisions...making me feel better about the choices I made... |

I was refered by a friend to go to this clinic because they had more affortable services. Went with my cat for her annual shots in January. The staff were great and very helpfull. The place is very clean and smells good. I didn't feel rushed as Dr. Lavoie examined my cat and answered the many questions I had. They will definately see me again next year. |

I'm a bit disappointed has I've never met the Vet. I went there I only talk to the staff not the vet. When you pay close to $400 you assume that you can see the vet. I've also specified that I want advise regarding a problem, I paid for but never receive the advise.... |

The staff is absolutely fantastic and Dr.Kader is amazing. We bring our two dogs there and wouldn't go anywhere else. |

I've taken my pets to three vets since moving to the Ottawa-Gatineau region, and I have to say that the Clinique is absolutely the best. The staff treat you and your pets like you matter, and I always feel at ease about what's going on with my pet, and how much it's going to cost. I took my cat to the emergency vet at Alta Vista, and I was absolutely appalled by the service there (the vet spent 30 minutes telling me that my cat was going to die no matter what, and then when I asked to put him down, told me that if I paid $1,500+, it might work for a little while); I know that I would never have had that kind of experience at the Clinique. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone I know. |

We rescued a Siamese cat from a shelter and brought it to CVH and Dr. Jeff Kader met with us. He had his doubts about the cat but gave it his all. Today the cat is 15 years old and still living strong. This clinic has the best service, the receptionist was so helpful answers all my questions and more. Even the prices are amazing. Overall great experience for an Animal lover like myself. |

I bring my dogs there still to this day they are the most caring and affordable place that cares for the animals they treat and they do what they can for ur pet they are kind and very interested in helping animals and I'll never go to another vet not only do they care for your animals they don't over charge you and they explain everything before they proceed and u can understand that they care the moment u walk in the doors not only do i bring my pets there but all my family members do to i would recommend this vet to everyone and anyone there the BEST ever jess and marc |

I have taken my animals to the Clinique Veterinaire de Hull for the past 9 years and I have always had a great experience. The vets are amazing and the staff is great. I would recommend this place the anyone! |

Took my cat for vaccines and Dr Kader noticed a swelling on his gums. He suggested a shot of cortisone, saying the only side effect could be excessive urination for a couple days. He gave the cortisone and the vaccines at the same time, which I found out later is something that makes the vaccine completely useless. Cortisone shuts down the immune system. The vaccine is supposed to trigger the immune system for the viruses. So there's no point in doing two things that are meant to have opposite effects... Apparently it's hard on the cat's system too. So he got sick, then caught an infection because of his weak immune system. Took him to a different vet, he's on antibiotics now and recovering. Not to say anything bad about the other doctors in the clinic, but Dr Kader made me lose my confidence in their clinic with a simple mistake like this. It's cheap, but not worth it if they do this kind of thing. Lesson: You get what you pay 4; avoid cortisone; and definitely cortisone&vaccines. |
