We wouldn't have had our male boxer with us for five years after he was diagnosed with his first cancer if we had not had Altina and her staff fighting with us. They were so informative with all the options available to us at each stage and were completely honest with us with regard to their limitations which we really appreciated. Acadia is our sole vet and will continue to be into the foreseeable future. We have complete faith in them. |

I am new to Saskatoon, the Reception the first time was so cold and so snob that I felt like I did something wrong. The second time I went there she grabbed the bags of my cats with my cats in it in a way that was so heart braking that I went back in and took back my cats and went to another vet. . The doctor I saw the first time did not even bother to put the table down in the examine room, she talked to me while my cat was in his bag with no regards. Also when I went back to take my cats they where still in their bags not taken out. |

I have been vetting here for several years; and have only high praise for the Dr's, staff, and services provided. My animals are cared for with compassion, cutting edge technology, and expertise that I have never witnessed at any other clinic, over my 40+ yrs, of being both a breeder and a pet owner. These Drs are willing to go the extra 10 miles for breeders, even though it is physically taxing, demanding in every way, and probably at a loss to them , considering the involvement required. Yesterday my 13 yr old cat was diagnosed diabetic. and the help and advice and calls to check were as always , with a follow up call, and further attention later this week. For a true pet lover, this is the clinic for you, because not only are they experts; but I live on limited income, and they are reasonable and acomidating for cost . Dr's Wickstrom, and Corrigan, and all staff, me and my animals thank you. |

I have always had great and knowledgeable service at this clinic. With four dogs and all working in multiple venues, we have experience chronic sporting injuries healed by laser as well as many other regular services needed. When testing that they were not equipped to provide was required, they accommodated us to find the help we needed. We were recommended to go elsewhere for surgery that had horrible results and were very accommodating to fix the mistakes of another vet. One dog came through major surgery and was on the way to healing in just days with the laser surgery techniques. May cost a little more, but now that I have experienced cheaper services, I will be returning to Acadia for my vet needs. |

I've been using Acadia vet clinic for approximately 18 months and have been very satisfied with the service and staff and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Because I have clinical experience myself, I can quite happily attest to the quality of care that my animals have received at Acadia. Everyone has been cooperative and caring, and show a high degree of expertise. One of my animals required an orthopedic surgery, and both the surgery and the rehab after were excellent. |

Dr. Wickstrom and Dr. Corrigan are two of the best vets that we have had the pleasure of dealing with, along with their staff. They have given nothing but the best level of care of our cats, mice and hamsters (well over 20 over the past four years). Billings are very reasonable and the quality of service both during and follow-up is fantastic. I happily recommend them to any cat, dog, rodent or other exotic owner. --Colin Wilson |

I have been taking my dogs to Acadia Vet Clinic for 7 years, and have always had excellent and compassionate care not only for my dogs but also for myself. I chose this clinic because they offer holistic care options as well as traditional animal care. All of the staff are highly skilled,compassionate and caring. The Veterinarians are up to date in their professional practice. They offer options of care without pressure on me; it's always my choice as to what I want for my dogs. They've made home visits when my dogs were too ill or immobile to be taken to the clinic. They have been emotionally supportive to me and my dogs. My dogs love going to Acadia Clinic. Dogs know and approach people who are kind and caring. I have always felt that my dogs were in good hands with these Vets. I have recommended the Acadia Vet Clinic to many people, even strangers that I've met walking my dogs. |

I have NEVER had any problems with Altina or anyone at Acadia Vet Clinic in the 12 years I had to take my very unhealthy dog there. They always went above & beyond to help me understand everything that had to be done. I was always kept in the loop of things and always,contacted a day or two later to see how she was doing. I have never hesitated to recommend them to anyone and will continue to do so in the past. Thanks Altina and staff for your care and concern to my pets and to me. |

I have been taking all of my pets to Acadia Vet Clinic for over 12 years. The staff are extremely knowledgable, kind, compassionate and caring. They offer cutting edge treamtent options and they follow up with you after every visit to make sure your pet is doing well and to answer any questions or concerns. Even with all of the services they offer, they never pressure more treatments than are necessary and if one treatment isn't working, they will pursue another, but only if you want to. All of the staff truly understand that pets are cherished members of the family, and I will never take my pets anywhere else. |

Avoid this clinic if you're not a breeder or highly-paid professional. The vet Altina appears to favor owners with the big bucks. Last year, our dog was re-anesthetized 3 times and stayed all day so they could service another dog with artificial insemination. Ultimately in June 2012, our dog was misdiagnosed and died in ER of fully-engaged lung cancer within 1.5 weeks of a check-up at her clinic that pronounced him healthy. We feel stupid not to have changed vets sooner, as we were never treated very well at their clinic. |

The Acadia Veterinary Clinic has looked after my pets health for years. I would highly recommend this clinic to friends and family. All the staff are very pleasent and very knowledgable in what they do. Dr. Altina Wickstrom's years of experience is shown through the amount of new treatments the clinic offers. The staff are very friendly and I love after any visit the follow up you receive. |

Altina and her staff have always been truthful, compassionate and caring with our dogs. They give follow up phone calls, they offer alternative healthcare, and when we had to make a tough decision about euthanization, they talked us through it, sat with us and cried with us. Acadia comes highly recommended to people who treat their pets like members of their family. |

I had a great experience at Acadia Vet Clinic. Dr. Wickstrom has a lot of knowlege and experience in reproduction. They do in clinic progesterne testing on weekends and holidays. Dr. Wickstrom gave me her home phone number when my girl was due which is great. The whole staff is friendly and they give you all the time you need. I HIGHLY recommend Acadia Veterinary Clinic. |

Poor Customer Service. Canine Reproduction knowledge well below industry standard. Would not recommend this clinic for such delicate procedures. From a long time breeder of international Champions. |
