Click to report rating    10/25/11   5     5     3     1   Good vets but extremely expensive, especially if your pet has a chronic condition. Moved out of State and found a vet that charged an extreme FRACTION of the cost for supplies needed for my pet's chronic condition. There is no reason at all for such a significant price differential for medical supplies that require NO intervention by the Veterinarian other than the staff ordering the supplies (not even talking about prescription drugs.... which, by the way, you should always ask if it is available through a pharmacy... usually much cheaper than buying it through a Vet especially if it is available as a generic).      2/28/08   2     2     1     1   The worst vet ever! We took our beloved cat to Dr. Miller at eagle rock vets when he was a little sick....turns out he was really sick. Dr. Miller guilted us into having him do many expensive procedures on the cat bay saying “well it's a loved member of the family and not to try everything would be a shame". When we asked what the survival chance was hemmed and hawed and gave us a round about BS answer. $2000 later we went to another vet who said "if what you are telling me is true....you we scammed and ripped off. I would have told you the cat had about a 5% chance of survival based on the symptoms and initial test results from your other vet" RID: 7567
