Middletown refered us to Hartford Vet Specs because my dog Bella had broke her leg. Because shes so tiny Middletown werent equiped to do a surgery on her so Hartford put a metal plate. She starting healing, but in the mean time she broke her other leg. We called and told them, and with out any questions said that they would work with us finacially knowing we just dished out 2,500 dollars on the first leg. Dr. Leshem is also very knowledgeable, and very understanding, and thanks to everyone at vet specs bella is healing well. |

Dr Berzon is an excellent vet! He spent time explaining the condition he was treating my dog for and the options I could choose. He offered me some options based on the medical circumstances and my financial ability to provide my dog with the best care possible. His follow up exceeded my expectations. |

I have never actually been to this practice but I had an experience on the phone with them. I had just had my cat declawed and on the way home in the carrier she had been pawing at the door and by the time we got home some of the scabs had come off and her paws were bleeding. I called to ask them what I should do to try to stop the bleeding. All they did was lecture me on how you should never declaw a cat. This was not the time or place for this. The cat had been declawed and her paws were bleeding. They were totally uncaring and offered no assistance in this case. I would never go there. |

I have been going to this practice for about 6 years.The girls at the front desk are outstanding!Very helpful and concerned about your pets,they are treated like their own.The Doctors at this hospital are the best available. |
