Click to report rating    3/11/13   5     5     5     5   Dr. Cheryl is the best! She genuinely has the pet's interest in mind - no price gauging. She is very honest & kind - she is very down to earth. She sees my cats & rabbits - very knowledgeable. She has seen me through very rough times with a diabetic cat & was extremely kind and empathetic, but most of all has a heart of gold for my animals! RID: 41004

5/3/12   SYSTEM: Name changed from Christine Kolmstetter to Aloha Animal Hospital.
Click to report rating    5/1/12   2     2     1     1   Dr. K. is possibly the worst vet I have ever encountered and the most expensive. My first devastating experience with her was when I brought my rat in with a tumor (the size of a marble). When I called to check up on him, she said she couldn't do the surgery, put him down, and charged me over $400. Anyone that knows about rats knows that they can have tumors the size of baseballs and survive the surgery and that it doesn't need to cost $400. I have a new vet that charges me around $150 and that includes ALL medications and follow up care. If you love your animals and value your pocketbook, stay away from Dr. K. RID: 33931

Click to report rating    7/13/11   5     5     5     5   Staff is friendly and knowlegeable. The facilities are always clean, and my dogs and I are seen promptly. Dr. K. is caring and truly knows her stuff. She is also willing to look beyond the most obvious answers to a problem. She is certified as a rehab vet, and the work she has done with my dog has made it possible for me still have my dog. Because of her hard work and caring, my dog now has a great quality of life and appears to be pain free in spite of her numerous orthopaedic probems. Best vet ever! RID: 26186

Click to report rating    6/14/09   3     5     3     1   I started out having pretty good impression about Dr. Kolmstetter, but the more I get to know her, the more I think she's not there for the animal, but more for the money. Last time she inspected my turtle briefly(my turtle wasn't the main patient in that visit, I just asked her to look at her to make sure my turtle looks fine), she looked at it for <1 minute and told me nothing wrong with her shell, and I was pretty upset for getting charge $25 for 1 minute of her time, luckily I was able to get a hold of vet back in my country through MSN chat, sent him the picture and he said it might be yeast problem and asked me to send him some shell sample. Finally it did turn out to be yeast growth on the shell, the whole thing cost me merely $25 dollar and the doctor didn't even charge me on shell checking or initial consultation on chat window, I even feel bad for that. My turtle is doing a lot better now, and I'm thankful that I never go back to Dr. K again. RID: 13171

Click to report rating    2/29/08   5     5     5     5   Dr. K is awesome. She was the third vet I took my guinea pig to, and she was the only one that properly diagnosed what was wrong with him. She is SO knowledgable and has a great bedside manner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! RID: 7576
