Wouldn't take my kitties anywhere else! The staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. Yes, they're expensive, but if you love your animals like you do family, you want the best for them. As far as I'm concerned, paying extra to know my cat is in good hands is worth it. And I make less than $1,000 a month! Enough said. |

The best vets in the area! I drive 30 minutes each way to get to Burnt Hills but it is well worth it. I have 5 dogs and have seen nearly every vet in this practice. I always feel that they take their time and carefully examine my pets and listen to my concerns. I would recommend this veterinary practice without hesitation! |

Wonderful, compassionate staff. Always there when you need them. However, like every rose, there is a thorn. I cannot say the same of one of their veterinarians based not only on my own experience of having one of my dogs die shortly after she saw her (I had to take my dog to the Emergency Clinic 12 hours after seeing Dr. B-K; my dog died less than 12 hours later). It was clear that my dog should never have been sent home in the first place, as she was unable to control her bladder, was drooling, could not hold up her head, was having problems breathing... She had aspiration pneumonia. However, the remainder of the staff, from my perspective, is wonderful, and I have dealt with all of them. I highly recommend this facility. |

Not true about the money issues. After an estimate of $640 - $772 for my 6 mos old kitten that might not make it anyway, I took said cat home. I wished it we re different, but I liked the place. The Ani mall clinic in Glenville charged me $150, then sent me there. ??? |

Dr Elson has been my Vet and he is a great & caring Vet. I have had numerous old dogs PTS and each time he has come to my house and has been wonderful. Been breeding dogs over 20 yrs and he is the best. He is also a great cat also. |

Been going there for nearly 30 years to see Pete Farrell and Mike Rach. They have ALWAYS delivered the best care for my cats, even when it was an emergency at 4am! When you ask them, "What would you do if it were your cat?", you know they are telling you the truth, even if it's not the answer you want to hear. And, when I've had to have a much loved cat euthanized, they let you stay with your pet the whole way, if you want, and you can stay as long as you want afterwards. The vets stay with you and make sure that when you go out the door you are smiling. Sure, through the tears, but smiling none the less. I'm sure some other clients must have thought we were "monsters" for coming out of the office with smiles on our faces after euthanizing our beloved pet, but they've obviously never been in that position. We can usually get home with smiles on, through the tears, until we get home and reality sets in. Never, ever had a bad experience. Bad outcome, sure, but no matter what-BHVH rocks! |

I drive past 3 other vet clinics during my 25 minute drive to get to BHVH. I would never consider stopping elsewhere. I've been taking my family there for 17 years to see Dr. Clement. I honestly can't say enough about the friendly staff and Doctors. I know that my family is in the best of hands when they walk through that door. |

The folks at BHVH are the best. My pets have had nothing but the absolute best care, from caring compassionate, highly skilled and dedicated people. My pets mean alot to me and my family and I trust BHVH 100% and I don't even say that about my own phycisian. |

The greatest advantage in trusting your pet to this practice is their ability and willingness to consult with each other when faced with an unusual condition. I have been bringing my dogs here for over 15 years (6 different patients) and they have been excellent in diagnosis and treatment and cure. When the inevitable end comes they are gracious and respectful to the animal to the very end. I don't think there is a better hospital facility in the area, clean, technicians who walk your dog and take a genuine interest in them during any overnight stays. Skillful....compassionate....informative.....honest....need I say more |

They are wonderful there, but, don't let your pet need anything on the weekend! We were desperate and could not get a vet Saturday night or all day Sunday. (need to go to Latham to the Emergency Clinic there) Ended up at Mandak and Teddy Smith was FABULOUS! |

They are very compassionate about your animals. They never ask you about or turn you away because of money issues. They are knowlegdable and up to date on the lastest techniques and cures, unlike other places. They are wonderful. |

Dr.Heidi Gordon is the best! We've seen other vets there, but none stand up to her compassionate nature and expertise. Dr. Gondeck is a great surgeon, but lacks in people skills. |

i have brought my pets here for 6 years.my cats have seen multiple vets and all have been great.and compassinet when we have had to have any p.t.s.. my dog max has always seen dr.scott.she is first rate,top notch.we have even boarded max there.the entire staff is great!! |

From my home to this office I pass three other vets, but I choose to go here because the staff and facility is absolutely wonderful. It's a new and very clean facility, and I really feel my dogs get the best care here. The staff of veteranarians here is fabulous. My three-year-old shih tzu needed to be spayed and she also has a cherry eye. I of course was nervous about surgery but everything turned out great. Around the same time we had just gotten a new puppy who needed all his shots, etc. My dogs received nothing but the best care here. |
