Click to report rating    9/6/10   4     4     4     2   My cat has seen all of the 3 main vets here, Dr Chang, Dr Jones, and Dr Fujitani. All three are good vets that explain things well. The staff is always happy to see my baby and they treat him well. It is expensive, but well worth it compared to a couple other vets I used when I first moved here. I have experience with 4 other vets in Honolulu and this is the best I have found.  RID: 19595

Click to report rating    5/31/07   2     5     5     2   Dr. Chang is a very informative & friendly doctor; however, the receptionists there aren't always nice. Once I asked for my dog's records and one of them didn't looked too pleased and made copies for me and gave the records to me without saying a word. Another time, I was on hold for over half an hour! I wanted to hang up but also wanted to see just how long the receptionist was going to leave me hanging. Also, it's really pricey. I use to get my dog's teeth cleaned and their starting rate is $600 & goes up to $2,000! After couple teeth cleanings, I decided to look around and I found another vet that did the same procedure for only $200! The vet I go to now is just as good but better with friendlier staff and price is so reasonable. I didn't know I could get my dog exam and pay less than $100. What was I thinking? Well, I do like the fact that they don't keep me waiting for long. So there you have it, the pros & cons at this facility.  RID: 4290

Click to report rating    1/2/07   2     2     5     1   Told over phone exam would be set amount. Then dog given many tests such as heart rhythm strip and glaucoma check and told that they were part of exam. Bill was 10 times what was quoted. Exam by veterinarian very cursory. Felt ripped off.  RID: 1717

Click to report rating    11/18/06   5     5     5     5   He is very good with my bunnies and guinea pigs and respects these small animals as much as he would a pedigreed dog. Very patient; leaves time to do a thorough exam. Great diagnostician and surgeon. Involves me in decision making and gives me the options. Understands what I am willing to do. Educates owner in value of diet and exercise and tries to minimize medication and intervention.  RID: 780
