Wow, what a great clinic. I thought I was going to have to put my cat down because it was going to cost $700 to give him fluids at the hospital. Dr Walton showed me how to do it at home. It might not work, but at least its a chance, I would have had to put my cat to sleep otherwise |

Dr. Walton has been a dream come true! I rescued my dog from a local shelter about a year ago and she required some medical procedures to be done. I took her in and he explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand. I felt confident leaving my dog with him, and was impressed by his reasonable prices. Even after being spayed and multiple surgeries on her eyes, my dog still loves visiting and never wants to leave! |

I have been going to this clinic for about 20 years. As an avid dog sport and working dog enthusiast it is important to have a good vet that is reliable, and understands what they are doing when it comes to nutrition and sport rehab. Dr McDowell and Dr Walton are the best vets I have encountered and I drive an hour out of my way to go there. And it's so nice when the vet doesn't rip you off!! Love this clinic, highly recommend it for anyone! |

Without a doubt, Dr. Adrian Walton is a the most devoted, caring, knowledgeable and empathic of vet's. When my cat was ailing from kidney disease and it was time to put her to sleep, it was Boxing Day and he was en route from Toronto back to Vancouver, yet he answered my email and the next day came to my house and with a loving assistant and helped Sasha pass. Soon after I received an amazing bouquet of flowers, a condolence card from him and the staff, and a lovely letter and card from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (Saskatoon)for Dr. Walton's contribution towards their companion animal program in memory of my cat. He was also extremely forgiving on my numerous vet bills. When Sophie, the sister to Sasha passed of FIV the following year, I received the flowers and cards once again. His clinic also is a wildlife rehabilitation centre and an exotic animal clinic - mainly reptiles. He is the best!!!! |

I had to take my cat to the vet on Monday morning as she was very lethargic and I knew something was wrong. I searched online for a good vet and this clinic had the best rating. So off I went at 8am. My initial interaction with the woman at the desk was not good. I was so upset because I knew I wanted my cat at this vet so I didn't want to leave yet I had to keep my mouth shut otherwise I would have to leave. So she had left the front for a minute and upon her return I said to her that if this was how they make first impressions then this was not good. She immediately apologized and I put my hand and said, we are good. I didn't care why she was in a bad moood just that she apologized. I will be picking my kitty up in the morning and was told they don't charge for overnight stays. WHAT!!! So I have found my new vet and will recommend them to any and all. |

I just took both of my cats here today. I've never even heard of this vet but I so wish I did. Both my cats might have had some rat poison so we took them in. Dr.Walton is awesome. He did the blood tests, and gave me peace of mind unlike other vets. And the prices for the hospital are very good. Highly recommend!!! |

Dr. Walton cares so much for all the animals that come under his care.
2 years ago our newly purchased Chihuahua puppy got extremely ill with coccidia at just 12 weeks old.
Dr. Walton and his staff treated her at the clinic, and when things looked bad, he decided to take Lily home to keep a close eye on her condition and to cuddle her and keep her warm all night.
He took the time to call us at 11:30 at night to let us know how she was doing. Things did not look good, and we expected the worst.
When the call came in the morning, we got fantastic news. He (and his wife) had stayed up all night with Lily was able to pull her though one of the worst cases of coccidia he had seen.
We are grateful to all of his staff as well, because the care continued at the clinic the next day, as they all took turns carrying our Lily like a baby kangaroo in a pouch.
We were fortunate. Today Lily is happy and healthy, thanks to Dr Walton and his staff. |

besides beeing a great Vet, most people don't know how much Dr. Walton does for the SPCA , he came on a to the shelter for a very sick dog. He really cares.... |

Dr. Walton is amazing. He is very informative and it is very apparent that he loves animals. When my little bird goes in for check ups he is very caring and loving towards her :) |

After a few bad expeiences in other vets in Maple Ridge I took my neighbors advice and tried Dewdney. They blew me away with the care they had for my dog and cat.Very reasonable prices too. He told me he was going to call and check up on my dog and ....he did! Also during my cats check up he included my daughter by allowing her to listen to the cats heart,the other vets I went to in the past didn't even notice her in the room. In my eyes these guys deserve a 10 not only a 5!! |

Dr Walton is the BEST reptile vet in the lower mainland. He performed surgery on my veiled chameleon. She had a serious impaction, and he removed it to save her life. He is extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommend him for reptiles/ exotic pets. |

I would not even consider any animal clinic except for Dewdney Animal Hospital. They genuinely understand that our pets are part of our family. There have been times that they indulged us in bringing in our dogs just to put our minds at rest putting aside they were extremely busy. I can't recommend them higher. |

Dr.Walton is by far the best vet I've ever met. We've taken our pets there for years now and have never had any complaints about service. The vet techs are amazing! They are super friendly and they all really care about the animals. When my puppy had an allergic reaction to her vaccinations, I called in a panic, they told me to bring her in even though they were closing in 5 minutes. Dr Walton took the time to explain everything to me, and even gave me his cell# in case she got worse overnight. I'll never visit another vet! We've moved out of Maple Ridge but distance has no hold over the amazing service we recieve at Dewdney Animal Hospital |

Dr. Adrian Walton and his staff are the most amazing people - I can't say enough good things about the care and treatment my furry babies have received over the years. Of all the vets I've used, he is simply the best - he truly cares and loves animals! He also helps the owners cope with difficult situations and decisions. He is the only vet I will recommend. |

Took my dog to Dr. McDowell to get his ear stitched up. Quoted me one price and when I went to pick him up the bill was almost double. He also over did the anesthesia, my dog was totally out of it for almost 16 hours. I was so worried I had to call the emergency clinic at 1am. |

Dr.Walton's passion is animals and it shows in every aspect of the care he provides. You can't choose a better veterinarian for the care of your animals period. Dr. Walton takes the time to explain things to you and still lets you make the best informed decision for your pet. I appreciate his knowledge, understanding, care, and patience. I 100% trust him to provide the best care for my animals. We love you Dr. Walton!! |

I really appreciate the fact there is such a great vet like Dr Walton that I can take my furry or scaly kids to. The staff are caring people and I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants the best care for their pets. |

We have been bringing all our animals to Dr. Bill McDowell and Dr. Adrian Walton for years. They are knowledgeable and compassionate, and above all, really love animals, as do ALL the staff. I would absolutely recommend this vet pracice to anyone who cares about their animals' wellbeing |

Can only give them the highest amount of praise. They are caring, loving and patient. The entire staff is helpful and take the time to listen. The level of care is wonderful and I'm never concerned when I leave one of my babies in their hands. They are a wonderful clinic full of wonderful people. I would recommend them to anyone! |

My Pekingese, Mr. P.J. developed Kennel Cough and I had called the clinic to bring him in. Even though I was unable to make it through traffic in time to get there before they closed, Dr. Adrian Walton waited for me to get there. How many Vets do you know who would do that? He was knowledgeable, listened to what I told him, thoroughly examined my dog,handled my pet with care, showed me how to administer the medication, and answered all my questions. Even though I had kept Dr. Walton at the clinic after hours, he did not give me the bums rush to finish up & go home. And to top it off, my bill did NOT cost me an arm & a leg & my first born. The facility was very up to date, clean, bright & spacious. A well kept clinic like this with a genuinely caring vet who doesn't rip you off is a RARE FIND. I live in Vanouver but would make the long trip out to Maple Ridge anytime for my vet needs. I highly recommend this pet hospital. ***** (5 stars) A. Tse |

While both Bill McDowell and Adrian Walton are wonderful vets, would also like to commend their staff as well. Darcy has to be the best vet tech in the Lower Mainland! Very caring and knowledgable staff and doctors alike!! The only place I would ever take my dogs. |

We decided on Dr Walton for our new pup after he was highly recommended to us by a few people. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his staff. Dr Walton has been very reasonably priced, he has called at home to check up on my dog after his surgery, and really has gone the extra mile. My dog loves going to see him - even after being neutured lol. I am so thankful to have Dr Walton as our Vet, especially after some of the horror stories I've heard about other Vets. It's really nice to see people in their chosen profession for the right reasons. |

Dr. Adrian Walton has helped us with our pets for a few years now. He is always straight forward and let's us know precisely what is going on. Hi staff are friendly and courteous, they genuinely care about you and your pet. Add to that that Dr. Walton knows his way around exotics, and you have the perfect vet! fin, feather, skin or fur they will be very well take care of at this vet! Truely the best I have ever experienced! |
