Absolutely the best veterinarian on the planet. Unfortunately, Dr. Bussanich's health forced him into retirement. A more knowledgeable, fair and competent person you will never find. On his last day of business, people left literally in tears, wondering where they would go to find honest medicine, after being clients for over 35 years. He didn't care about "making money", he wasn't a salesman, he just wanted to "practice medicine and help the animals". Upselling was not a word in his vocabulary. If he said a treatment was necessary - belive me - it was! He never created work for himself. Staff adored him. He is also a specialist, the first in his field in Canada. One day a husky came in unexpectedly with an eye injury that required minor surgery. Dr B had already gone home for the day. He stopped back in for something, looked at the injury, performed the procedure and refused to charge the owners, saying "he really wasn't in the office at the time anyway". We love and miss you Dr B!!! |
