As a long time vet. tech (1972 working with Dr. Allan Secord in Toronto and several kennels), I am totally impressed with Ann and her staff. I have my own pet service (walking dogs, shots for cats and dogs, emergency triage etc.), and I have recommended several clients for Crown Pointe. Like any other profession - not everything goes as well as expected. This is not a perfect science - your pet can not tell you that problem, and like human medicine - not totally perfect. Ann and her staff are at the TOP of my list for vets. in Ottawa AND Ontario. I give them 9.9 out of 10. Perfection almost there! Rod Lahay - a 67 year old - experienced dog person. My sheltie LOVES Ann too!! |

Dr. Ann Conlon Kelly is terrific with my cats, I've never seen them respond so well to a vet. It's as if they aren't aware of anything she's doing, no response to the thermometer or needles. I feel like I actually get my money's worth from her exams, she takes her time to do a full check and makes sure to let me know what she's doing and seeing. Very good follow-up post surgery as well. This is someone who truly cares about animals, as a three feline owner I highly recommend her. |

I have been to a few vet clinics over the years and must say that we are very pleased with the services we have had here. The appointment have always been on time and Dr. C-Kelly is very patient with both the animals and owners. We ask a lot of questions and she always takes time explaining things to us. You can tell that she has a genuine interest in her patients and loves what she is doing. |

We had been looking for a vet as competant as the last clinic we had been going to in Burlington, ON. We relocated to Ottawa and tried a few vets. All did a really quick exam not thoroughly and were really disinterested. My pets are seniors and all have kidney issues. I am so glad to have found this clinic as Dr. Kelly was very patient and she is knowledgeable about homeopathic medicene as well as conventional vet medicene. You can see she has a great passion for animals and what she does. Her exam was so thorough. I must say it was the best one ever. I like that she does not over promote vaccines and vaccinates on as an need basis. Also she examined my seniors cats teeth and instead of recommending a dental under anesthesia(which she said was not in the best interest for my senior kidney issue cat)she gently got the tarter off his teeth using her finger and he did not flinch. She is also very gentle with the animal and her receptionist and the tech, Vanessa are very patient.Amazing! |

We just had a terrible episode with this veterinarian (Dr. Kelly). What started as simple procedure to remove a small lump on the tail of our dog ended in having to remove the tail completely because of an error. The suture were too tight and bloodcirculation was cut out of the tail.The veterinarian showed little compassion even though we have been a client of her for a very loog time. Through the years, we spend well over 10K for our pets at the Crown Pointe Animal Hospital. I strongly recommend you do not send your pet over there. All that veterinairian care about is cashing on your money! |

Even though I live an hour away, I'll keep going to Crown Pointe for my pets. Dr Conlon-Kelly has been simply wonderful with my two dacschunds. Ear infections, bladder infection and tooth removal were all treated with care and expertise. You can tell the vet and the staff truly care for the animals. They are quite punctual (in my experience, has only been late one time). Services can be expensive (about 1000$ for the tooth extraction), but they break down the invoices for you so you can understand where your money is going. Best of all is that Dr Conlon-Kelly never fails to personally call me after interentions to let me know what the test results were, or to inquire about how my pets are doing. Hands down the best vet I've ever been to. Highly recommended. |

Dr Auger has surgically treated several of our ferrets. Highly intelligent, compassionate, and always ready to help. Would not consider any other vet for ferrets in the Ottawa area. |

Dr Auger has cared for my geckos and snake for several yrs and I would not go anywhere else. Very thorough, professional and friendly. Will not pressure you into any decisions. Will give full explanations and answer all questions. Has the animals best interest at heart. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend him. |

Dr. Auger is undoubtedly the kindest, most knowledgeable and caring exotic animal vet anywhere. He has been my beardie’s vet for 5 years and we have always been treated wonderfully by him and his staff. A couple years ago I moved over a thousand miles away, but every year we make a drive back to Ottawa to have our precious beardie seen by Dr. Auger for her annual health exam. In fact, when my beardie needed a surgery we immediately made the thousand miles drive to have the operation performed by Dr. Auger. His prices are fair and well worth the money. I highly recommend him; you will not find another vet that is as smart AND compassionate ANYWHERE. |
