Although he is comes across as very nice, his veterinary medical skills are lacking. He gave treated my 12 year old dog with steroids for a cough. Later in the afternoon my dog had difficulty breathing and we had to take him to the emergency vet, who found that the cough was caused by HEART FAILURE not asthma! It turns out the treatments are very different and my dog had to be hospitalized overnight. His heart was huge on the radiograph, which if Dr. Brisois would have recommended would have shown that the stroids were not the treatment that my dog needed. My dog almost died because of this guys negligence. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to him. |

Dr. Brisbois and his staff are a cut above other local vet clinics. They remember you and your pet and are always kind and patient with both of you! I appreciate that they are honest about whether or not a procedure is neccesary, and they offer certain days and time of the week where regular patients can come do shots only (without having to pay for an entire check up). The staff is so kind and professional. The clinic is small and modest looking, although the letters from appreciative pet owners and the billboard of dog and cat pictures is charming in the waiting room. They do board pets overnight, and are reasonably priced for this. I think what strikes me most is that this is a real vet office- one exceptional veterinarian and his kind staff, charging reasonable prices and doing what is best for their patients. By far the best vet in Western Washington. |
