Click to report rating    8/7/18   3     4     4     2   I have been going to this clinic for over 10 years. They have been going through a rotation of vets recently that has been frustrating. The assistants, however, have remained fantastic. My most recent visit this weekend was not good. I was there to have my dog euthanized - already a distressing event. After the vet greeted me, his first words to the assistant was 'have you talked to them about the communal vs the private cremation and about the purchase of the clay paw print' - very compassionate! He then described the procedure to my family as the animal may gasp as the drug reaches it's heart because it is a shock or painful - to which my family member reacted in horror that our pet would be in pain. He then back peddled and said that it would not be pain but that animals sometimes have a physical reaction - again not great. When he left the room I had to clarify that sometimes it is an automatic nervous response not a reaction to pain. I will never return here after this experience RID: 66610
Click to report rating    8/18/15   5     5     5     5   I decided to get a cat when I moved into my own place. I went with an older cat, because I fell in love with her right away. Took her to Dr. Natasha, who helped me with my cat, once she was diagnosed with Diabetes (at the time, she was 11yrs old, and 30 pounds). Dr Natasha showed me how to inject her, and treat her, and we worked together, and actually got her diabetes into remission. The entire staff is amazing. Really polite, and try to get to know all their clients. Dr. Natasha sadly has left the practice to be closer to home, but the new doctors are just as friendly, and just as knowledgeable. I have, and will continue to recommend Lifetime Pet Care Practice to all my pet-owner friends. RID: 58093
3/1/13   1     1     1     1   I took my dog (pure breed Pekinese) to Dr. Natasha for a small check up. He usually gets his anal glands emptied by her. This visit was HORRIBLE. She immediately started to talk about how he could have a cancerous tumor and that we should pay her nearly $600 immediately so that she could examine him. After scaring us to death she says that it may be an infection as well but she wants to do these costly x-rays and other examinations first before even waiting for his medication to work. She is a horrible dr. I spoke with 2 other vets and he never had a tumor only an infection. stay away from her, just wants your money and will use scare tactics to get it. RID: 40798
Click to report rating    8/16/12   5     5     5     5   Dr Natasha has been doing Acupuncture on my dog since early this year. It is the best thing that has happened to him. He was in extreme pain before and now leads amuch better quality of life. She took a detailed history and even though he is kind of grumpy she still treats him with kindness and respect. I would highly reccommend this vet :) RID: 36572
Click to report rating    7/14/12   2     3     3     1   We used to take our cars to this vet, I will never go back. They used to be good, they have has several staff changes and the vet there now only want to get your money. They diagnosed our cat with cancer!!! He does not have and nor did he ever have cancer. There is no real test for cancer but they still said he had cancer, then arthritis. Both of these were misdiagnosis which is sad as we took him to another vet who almost immediately saw that it looked like allergies. Don't waste your money there RID: 35639
3/13/12   2     3     2     2   I had reservations about this practice right from the beginning. They admitted that they needed to research the dog breed before we came in for our first appointment (they had never seen nor treated one before). Fair enough I thought- at least they were honest with me and I know that there are not a lot of these dogs here in BC. That however did not stop the vet from making many negative remarks about my puppies behavior and physical make up. When I pointed out more than once that they were reserved around strangers and that the breed was thin by nature I was made to feel like I should not challenge the Vet's opinions. I never expected them to be experts on the breed but this info would have been found out easily had the vet actually read up on the dog. Ultimately we left this practice because of the high costs...no matter what we went in for it was at least $200+ and I started to feel like an ATM machine. There are better vets out there locally that will not rob you blind. RID: 32873

Click to report rating    10/4/11   1     3     1     1   Profit oriented period. Every time I go there they want to sell me a different dog food. (poor quality high priced food) also they insist on all kinds of tests I don't think are required. Prices have tripled in 16 months. Cashier is a SNOT!! RID: 28082
Click to report rating    4/4/11   5     5     5     4   Took my cat here a few days ago. DR.Yun and her staff were very friendly and helpful. They ran a test right on site and gave me the results within ten minutes. They also wrote out two estimates without me asking. One being the lowest estimate and one being the highest (If they thought further testing was needed or medication was needed). I did not feel rushed and the doctor did not push any tests or products on me. The vet even called me twice within one week to check up on how their prescribed diet was working for my cat. I will continue to take my cats to this vet. RID: 24106
