Dr. D'Orazio is the best vet I have ever come across. He did knee surgery on my dog Skeeter and is a very caring vet who has a huge heart and doesn't sugar coat anything. He also helped my in laws when their cat was ill and went to them and did a house call on his day off. My dog Skeeter, who is 14 is not fond of vets at all, especially males. BUT, she did like Dr. D'Orazio and would take treats from him. Do not hesitate to take your animals to him, he is the best! 5 huge mega stars all the way!

I spoke with someone looking for a great vet today, and the only vet that I can wholeheartedly recommend to date is Dr. Mark D'Orazio, who performed surgery on both of my labradors in years past with excellent results (one dog needed surgery for tumor removal and the other for bladder stones). He is the most caring vet I have come across. He is sensitive to both the owner and the pet, and is not out to make a profit off of you. Meeting him was one of the luckiest moments for both me and my dogs. By the way, the way I found him was through a referral from another vet that did not practice in my vicinity who had attended vet school with him during his days at WSU.

Dr. D'Orazio is, without a doubt, the best vet I have ever encountered. His kindness and caring about the animals is incredible. He helped me with my elderly cat, Max, when he was dying. Not only did he not have any problem recommending another clinic, but was willing to work with me when I explained that I simply couldn't afford it. His knowledge and expertise were impressive, but what was most memorable was his kindness. I would highly recommend him.

I have taken my animal crew (two Dobes, three cats) to see Dr. D'Orazio over the years. He is terrific, genuine, and knowledgeable. How many vets do you know make post follow up calls? The veterinarians at this clinic do and I've appreciated that. Thank you Mark.

I'm so glad I found Dr. D'Orazio for the care of my older GSD/Greyhound mix. My dog is currently being treated for liver disease--his first real health issue, at 12.5 years old. We're still working out the details of his long-term care (it's kind of a puzzling case), but Dr. D'Orazio has been nothing short of fantastic this whole time. He always remembers to call, and will call even on his own time if he's thought of something additional he thinks I need to know. He consulted with a few other vets when determining what medications to give my dog (as another user mentioned, there's no huge ego to deal with here). Like another user said, he can be blunt (I wouldn't say "borderline rude," though), but personally I find that refreshing--I'd rather know exactly what I'm dealing with. He treats my dog, who can be very "wiggy" and used to have to be muzzled, very well--in fact, he hasn't had to have the muzzle on lately, and even allowed Dr. D'Orazio to check his teeth! (That's BIG.) :)

Dr. D'Orazio took really good care of my dog. Not only did he prescribed the right medication for him, he also gave me a follow-up call 2 days later!

You can definately tell Dr. D'Orazio cares about the well-being of your animal and I never drop my cats off worried about how they'll be treated. I think the Dr. has great respect for his patients and as forementioned, has enough respect for you to be up front about treatment and costs. He also shows interest by checking up with you after you bring your animals home. Great guy!

I saw Dr. D'Orazio when my regular vet wasn't available and I think he's a wonderful vet. Just like the other raters I found him caring, knowlegeable, and patient when explaining stuff to humans. I was impressed with how he called me to ask about my cat for days after I'd been there.

Mark D'Orazio was my cat's vet 5 years ago. after he left for Africa his old office went to the flusher. I am so happy that I found him again! Such an honest, open person, and it shows in the bill! Wish I could say that for 1234 15th NE...

Great clinic that tries hard. Older facilities but well maintained. Mark is amazing and definitely the best vet on staff (Dr. Kihara is pretty good, too). He will work for free rather than put an animal down for monetary issues. Blunt, sometimes almost rude, but he'll never deceive you. Loves and really gets cats - get him to talk about his own. :)
Carkeek also boards.

Dr D'Orazio has common sense, something many vets don't seem to have. Easy to work with. A good decent vet. A bit $$$$$

I have known Mark for about 9 years. He has treated my dog Grunt every time she is in need. Mark is honest and caring and will do whatever it takes to make sure that your pet and you are ok. I have followed him from his previous employer to where is now (notwithstanding his trip to Africa). Top notch, honest, caring, and reliable. I would trust my animals to no one else when it come to their well being. I have brought him 3 dogs and 1 cat over the years and have never been disappointed. two thumbs up for Mark!

No BS, he'll get straight to the heart of the matter. Sets high standards for himself and staff. Will move you to a specialist when needed (meaning no hurt ego problems). Often will check up on patients and their people on his personal time. The guy truly cares about spectacular service and care.

I was sent to him by the rescue I got my dog from. He seemed to be well informed but some of the staff in the clinic were not real welcoming. They charge top dollar for everything so they could try a bit harder to make you feel welcome.

I totally agree with the first rating. He was recomended by the person I adopted my dog from and I think he the best vet I have ever used. I took my dog in on his day off last time and I wasn't as happy with the service or the bill. Always ask to see Mark when using this clinic.

Dr. Mark is honest, to the point, not full of himself (will admit when he has no idea)and trully likes animals. He isn't into smoozing the human like so many popular vets but into providing the best health care for the pets he has in his care.He isn't a total rip off, tries to keep the $ down while still providing good health care.He may come off as a hard nose guy but don't fall for it. He has a big soft spot and has helped many a needy animal.Described by his old employer (DVM-40yrs) as one of the most smart vets out there. This vet has worked with 100's of vets over the years so being considered one of the best by him really says something.
Not happy with your old vet?,looking for a good one. Dr. Mark D'Oazio DVM
