When we moved to McKinney 2 1/2 years ago I chose to go to this vet. I took my Cocker Spaniel in his routine yearly shots and she said he had a skin fungus which hes never had problems before and proceeded to put him on a medication that paralyzed the left side of his face. I called her when I noticed something was wrong and she said to stop the medication and if he didn't get any better in 2 days to bring him back. It didn't get better and we were going out of town and since she didn't know what the problem was she put him on 4 different medications. Nothing changed so when we went back she finally did some research and figured out what it was. Ufortunately nothing could be done to reverse the damage. She did not apologize or offer to refund any of the money I spent on 5 perscriptions. So I agree with the other person, she comes up problems and over medicates. I wish I would have sued her for malpractice. DO NOT use this vet if you value your pet as we do!

I've been really pleased with the care and service we've received at ACC. Dr. Grand has really helped me maintain a good quality of life for my senior Boxer. I especially appreciated that she made sure I really understood my options for joint supplements. She helped me figure out how to get the best result for him that could fit within my limited budget. The staff member are also very good. I've been impressed with the receptionists, techs and kennel staff. All very friendly and anxious to help.

When I moved to McKinney, I interviewed 5 different local vets to find the best one to take my dog to. Dr. Grand's clinic beat all others, hands down. The boarding facility is excellent (although often full...book ahead), the clinic is state of the art, and the staff is great. Dr. Grand is very knowledgable, and keeps current on new techniques. The prices for services are a bit high, but you get what you pay for, and your pets are getting excellent care. Once you've established a working relationship with the clinic, they are very accomodating about dropping pets off for treatment, and working with you on the cost of treatments. My dogs love going to the clinic, and I know that they are getting excellent care, whether it's in the boarding kennel or the clinic.

Very over-priced. You get the feeling that Dr. Grant adds on procedures in the name of "Good Medicine". It is a beautiful facility and you pay for the fire place, couches and homey atmosphere with every visit. The few times we have seen Dr. Grant, she has seemed asleep on her feet. I have a hard time figuring out what Saturdays she is open and which ones she is closed. Consistancy would be nice

Quality veterinary medicine, professional and caring staff. I was attracted to Dr. Grand's practice because it wasn't like most veternary centers; a fireplace, comfortable couches and separate yards for small and large dogs to play in while boarding. The cat area was like nothing I've seen before, an area for cats to play freely during their stay. Upon a tour of the dog boarding facilities I found it immaculate and spacious- the dogs even spend hours at a time, playing outside together. They offer bathing services too! On Stonebridge drive near Eldorado Parkway.
