Dr. Mara has always been great with my family's animals, but Dr. Kate Connor, is nothing more than negligent and unfit to be a vet, that is why this clinic gets all 1's. My parent's dog had been in and out of the vet for the past few years because of her age. In the last months of 2013, she had visited the vet with a growth on her nose, repeatedly diagnosed as a skin tag. When I came to visit, I saw the growth and it clearly was a tick and I had removed it immediately. How can a licensed vet not know the difference between a tick and a skin tag. The dog was also treated for soars on her feet, diagnosed as the cause of dragging her back legs. We just found out, when she was brought in to be put to sleep that those "soars" were TUMORS! She had liver cancer. How can this woman practice veterinary medicine and be this negligent? If you go to this vet, ONLY see Dr. Mara!

Dr. Mara has looked after both of our dogs since they were puppies. Our 12 year old papillion was having trouble breathing and we honestly thought she was going to die. Today she is running around nearly like a puppy and Dr. Mara or a member of his staff has called each week to check on her. They have treated our dogs with as much love as we do. I could not be more satisfied.

I have been a client of Dr. Mara for ten years and believe he was once the best vet and is now THE WORST! Perhaps his practice has outgrown his capacity to provide quality care? This week, I waited FOUR DAYS for him to return two phone calls made during an emergency. I finally called his office. He is working this week, so the delay is definitely unacceptable. Also, the staff person on the phone showed no recognition of nor compassion toward me even after learning my cat died during the weekend. This, despite several visits (including a couple of full-day visits) to the clinic during the past month. I also still do not know what the specialist Dr. Mara supposedly called had to say. If you want a vet and/or staff who care about your pet, GO ELSEWHERE!

I would drive past this Vet clinic to go to ANY other place in NH. This Vet misdiagnosed a friends dog resulting in a horrible death. Don't trust this vet!
