	12/31/06	I rated this hospital as poor because I felt they took advantage of my emotional state and charged me over $1000 for tests when they should have known there was no chance for recovery in my dog and she had to be put down the next morning. When I asked to pay half the fee at the time and half later, the response was: "pay now or we'll be happy to put your dog down for you." When I said that wasn't fair, the veterinarian reminded me that they are running a corporation. My puppy presented with a prolonged fever of 108, seizures, drooling, unable to stand. If I had more experience, I would have known that a puppy doesn't recover from 108 fever. The additional problem is that there are only two emergency after-hours hospitals in the desert, so they had me.
