I cannot express how wonderful this place is. We recently relocated here to NJ and know nothing about the area and took a chance here -- and we are so lucky we did! Dr. B is who we saw for our boy Zeke ... and she is AMAZING (i'm sure they all are but she would be the one I am sticking with). He was sick with a few problems as a very young puppy and they constantly called me to check up, answered all of my phone calls instantly, and are always following up. The receptionists are also outstanding! A++++++

If Your looking for a veterinarian then you need to stay away from this place!! Very Uptight and Unwelcoming. They need to take a class in friendliness! WILL NOT RECOMMEND!!

Horrible place. I worked there. Miserable employees because they're treated very poorly. These doctor's are in it for the money, and care about nothing else. Previous negative reviews have been removed. They must have paid for this. So sad. You will see the high turnover of employees because of the treatment they receive. So sad, these wonderful nurses accept a job because they care so much for animals, only to be treated worse than poop on the bottom of a shoe. Don't go there! Trust me!

I would highly recommend this Veterinary Practice to anyone. The doctors are very knowledgeable, concerned, and first-rate. The staff are friendly, caring and professional. The facility is immaculate with state-of-the-art equipment. You really could not ask for more when your pet's health and well-being is at state.

Dr. B and her staff are outstanding. Very caring and very clearly "animal people". I've seen nothing but professionalism with the entire staff and every one of my encounters has been positive. That includes the worst time of my life near the end of my beloved pet's life. Unless these people can cry on cue while consoling me, then any review saying they are not caring is just the worst load of tripe. The facility is extremely clean and very professionally run. Just outstanding. If you think you can find better care somewhere else than I wish you luck in your search. I have seen a number of vets throughout my lifetime, in a number of states and have a sibling in veterinary medicine. Dr. B's standards are quite high and you and your pets would be lucky to have her caring for them. Samantha

Couldn’t be happier that I chose a vet that cares for animals as if they were her own kids!! Dr. Breitstein helped work out a plan to help my then pug, Brandy with breathing issues that my past vet placed her file aside and said there is nothing more I can do. She gave Brandy an additional two years with us. In the end, I was consoling her when she passed in my arms. We still speak of her to this day 7 years later. Our new dog, Roxy does great and she is most helpful with any issues she has. Dr. Tepper is very good as well but I always ask for Dr. Breitstein. The staff knows us by name and I have referred others to their office. Appointments are made easily and follow up to any issues follows the next day We get a $10 off coupon for her birthday each year with a card personalized to her!

I love Dr. Deb & her staff at AHC! They are very kind, compassionate and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Deb for all your pet needs (big or small!). The clinic is also beautiful & always maintained. Clean, neat & up to date state of the art Animal Health Care.

Everyone at the clinic loves animals. I have a sickly dog, and he loves going there. They make him feel special. My dog just turned 13, if it wasn't for Animal Heathcare Center, he would not have lived to this age.

these folks are the most caring people in the world....the entire staff makes you feel like your pet is the most important thing in the world and my dog derby loves to go there... dr B is an absolute saint.....you will NOT find better pet care anywhere

AHC of marlboro is by far a superior hospital.The staff is friendly and up on all the latest in vet care.I have been taking my pets here for 20 years and never had any problems that the doctors couldn't help with. Stop looking, this place is the best!

I know absolutely that my two small dogs are getting the same skilled care and kindness that I would expect for my children. The doctors and staff of AHC have these qualities and many more. Both Peaches & Bowie love their visits to Animal Health Care of Marlboro and so do I.

LOVED them. They treated my dog like family. Dr. was very professional. They give a lot of "extras" like your animals picture on the wall, an "id card" for your animal etc. I will never go anywhere else.

Dr. Breitstein gives my cats the most effecctive health care imaginable. When possible she finds the least invasive treatment for health problems. She knows what she is doing, relative to other veterinarians I have gone to. She is constantly updating and upgrading her skills. For Dr. Breitstein, caring for pets is an art, a science, and an act of love. I travel a long way to bring my cats to see her, because she goes the extra mile.

I don't know who these other people saw but I have been bringing my cats there for at least 10 yrs and Dr. B is wonderful!!! I had skittish cats that took to her immediately. They are a little pricey but well worth it. The staff is great and has been the same people in the office.

This summer I received the privilege of volunteering my time at the Animal Health Care of Marlboro animal practice. The owners, Dr. Breitstein and Dr. Tepper, as well as Dr. Garcia and the other employees of the practice are some of the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met. Dr. Breitstein, Dr. Tepper, and Dr. Garcia have a deep rooted love for animals and it shows in everything they do. Whether you are stopping by for a regular check up visit or a sick visit for your pet, each Dr. puts so much love and time into every patient they come across. They are very compassionate and truly intelligent people.

Best veterinarian for information and pet care: happy we found them: we had been searching for the right vet for our pets and we found them here at Animal Health Care. All the information you need plus contact availabilty through e mail and great hours for pet care! They now even have an Acupuncture doc and we are going to schedule an appointment for our dog. A full service quality vet!

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They will rip you off. Very deceitful and dishonest. Didn't explain procedure to me. I was told an "x-ray" which turned into a day long procedure. Didn't know the price until I pushed it. Was told 428.19. After I was told between 428.19-744.18. I told them my puppy has a fear of cages. They told me she would be in a "run". I called to find out how she was and was told "I don't know." I wanted to pick her up immediately and the doctor called me back. He was extremely rude like the phone call was a bother to him and he kept cutting me off after he would ask me a question. Finally, when he asked me another question, I said, "I'm not even answering because you're going to cut me off." When we picked her up she was in a cage and she is still recovering from the trauma.

My husband & I literally paid for their renovation of their new facility. We were totally ripped off and they nearly killed my dog. Misdiagnosed him, gall bladder exploded & had to be taken to Red Bank Vet. Hospital, who incidentally, saved his life. Spent nearly $20,000 on our beloved pet. The day before he passed, knowing he was going to be put to sleep the next day, asked for $1,000. They are only interested in the almighty buck. I have since heard other "bad" stories about them. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS THEIR!

If you want a "fake" doctor who only cares about the money, then AHC of marlboro is the place to go. Otherwise find a different place to care for your beloved pet. They treat their staff poorly. They will do it right in front of you too! Constant yelling in the treatment area. Guess who has to hear it? You guessed it, your beloved pet! Very unprofessional doctors, VERY HUGE TURNOVER of staff. The nurses that work there are great. So are the receptionists. Too bad they all walk on eggshells because the doctors are very abusive. VERY NEGATIVE ENERGY at Animal Health Care Of Marlboro. Please take my advice and go elsewhere. You'll be happy you did.

The staff is excellant, the facility is beautiful, I waited forever to see the doctor, and I found that I paid way too much money. I've been a vet tech for 8 years and changed perfessions 2 years ago and I never would expect to pay such a high bill. I could hear the dr talk nasty to her staff and I could've had great care at another facility with a smaller bill.

Called saying I needed a lameness evaluation for a dog and went on the explain conflicting ortho dx...told to bring in xrays and history, appt made and for 75 I was told they couldn't tell me anything needed to see a specialist??!!! Oh, and I learned how much the vet likes golf! Next day they called to ask my us why we didn't seem satisfied and after explaining we had our time wasted and paid for it we were told they wondered why we would go to them for that. Frankly, the doctor was NOT impressive at all and the money obviously goes to pay for their expensive facilities!

Excellent vets, compassionate and caring, will treat you and your pet with top-notch care. The staff is always cheerful and pleasant even when it's hectic in the office; never rush you off the phone. A bit pricy but well worth it!! Dr. B & Dr. T. 4 paws up :)
