The staff at this animal hospital is wonderful, one of the receptionists has been there since i first started going there years ago, and the newer staff is friendly too. The newer building is much roomier than the old building, but even then the way the animals are treated is what spoke most, and will to any animal lover! They let you know that they care about you and your animals, and give way to meeting an equal personable staff that works in the back, and the doctors. they are helpful, caring and they truly care about how you feel. My animals would not go to any other vet, and you need to experience the atmosphere they evoke with you and their animals. I recommend them to everyone!

Canceled my dogs surgery soon after we brought her (she was supposed to stay overnight) and didn't deem it important enough to call us and let us know that. She stayed there 36 hours, hungry and needing the bathroom, for nothing. Staff and vet were rude and denied any wrongdoing. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I travel an hour one way to go to this animal hospital even though there is a vet in my town. The care my pets receive from the staff at North Country is worth the extra time and travel. The staff is friendly and the vets have a genuine care and wonderful repore with the animals. I never feel like "just another patient". The care is individualized and I have always known this, but was ablo to experience it even better during my cat's recent terminal diagnosis, care, and subsequent death. Dr. McQuade kept in close contact with me and my after-hour answering machine messages were returned the same night I left them, even though the hospital was closed at the time. My cat and I were both treated with care and compassion during a very difficult time for both of us and this won't soon be forgotten. You are in good hands at North Country Animal Hospital in Caribou, Maine.

this animal hospital is very caring and has a wonderful repore with it's animal clients as well as compassion for those owned by them. i give this vet and her staff a BIG thumbs up!!
