I have been to a few other local clinics and I found this clinic to be much friendlier and more compassionate to my dog. She is always afraid at the vets, and they went above and beyond to make her comfortable and less scared. The vets took their time and got down with my dog instead of putting her up on the "scary" table! I'll be switching vets to Aberdeen.

I have taking my 4 dogs to Dr. Fritz for over 3 years and have always been satisfied with the service and care that my pets receive. The staff and doctors treat my dogs so well, they even get down on the floor with them while examining and treating them. When my pets need to be seen right away, Dr. Fritz and her staff get them in to be seen. The building is older, but I don't need a fancy new building to know that the care my dogs are getting is what I expect from a top notch veterinary facility and Veterinarian like Dr. Fritz and her staff!

I have had many good experiences here. The docotrs are kind and caring. The building is old, but renovations have been made and it is kept clean and neat. I like how the staff makes a big deal over my dog everytime we go in. I can tell they really care about my dog and his well being. I plan on taking any future pets to Aberdeen Veterinary clinic

The medication prices are very high. I feel like they try to nickel and dime you for everything. They charge a medical waste disposal fee if your pet gets vaccines. The vet techs are very friendly, especially Sarah. The front desk staff seem more interested in being on social networking sites then addressing their customers. The building is in dire need of repair, and their kennel facilities are horrible. The paint is peeling off the building, their is a ton of mold and mildew that you can smell as soon as you walk through the front door, the staff is pleasant but I would never board my animals there for fear that the building would cave in on my pet.

Tried to sell double the amount of medicine needed. When I picked up medicine, before leaving the office they wouldn't refund half the purchase price for the extra half of the pills. They refunded 25% and said that was all that could be done. I hadn't left the office with the pills. My complaint is I should gave gotten back half the money when they took out half the pills. Overall general shady dealings, will not return and don't recommend.

Dr. Heidi Fritz prescribed overdose of Gentamicin and Derramax to 2 year old Golden Retriever. This combination was fatal. In addition, Dr. Heidi Fritz of Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic prescribed IV fluids. She started his IV, locked Chiefy in a cage, and she closed her clinic for the night. Clinic was closed from 6 p.m until 0830 a.m with no staff on duty. Chiefy was not given the opportunity to urinate out the IV fluids. The fluids backed up into his lungs. Dr. Heidi Fritz killed 2 yr old beautiful happy Golden Retriever Chiefy. Please - for Gods Sake, please do not trust Dr. Heidi Fritz Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic, 728 S. Philadelphia Blvd. Aberdeen, Maryland.
