This was the first vet that has true knowledge of complementary medicine. He is easy to talk to and does not talk down to the client. I would highly recommend him!

I was very satisfied with both Dr. Carlson and his staff. They all worked very hard to make it a good experience for my cat. I like that he has such knowledge of complementary medicine and he is also certified in acupuncture and chiropractics for animals along with traditional western medicine.

I had a terrible experience from the first step into the door. There was a grooming client that was checking his dog out that was told his dog had to be stitched up because the groomer cut the dog. They misdiagnosed my dog with terminal cancer (the recommendation was..to take her home to let her die or euthansize her), the vet assistants were unknowledgeable about the type of cancer they 'misdiagnosed' and assured me that my dog would be okay as she had a dog with cancer. (right, a different more treatable type). It was the worst experience. To make matters worse, Dr. C. called me a few weeks after I went to another vet to find she had no cancer, he told me that they probably missed the part of the mass with the cancer? They sent off 5 samples and all were clear and she's still here 3 1/2 years later. Mistakes happen but someone could have listened to him and euthanisized their dog unnecessarily had they not gotten a second opinion.

Dr. Carlson is one of the best vets. His knowledge of hollistic medicine is incredible.

Dr. Carlson practices traditional (western) vet medicine as well as traditional chinese medicine, homeopathic, acupuncture, and spinal manipulation therapy. He likes to talk so sometimes he is not as punctual as he could be but he is a great doctor!
