    | | 10/5/15 | charged a lot of money for a simple visit and an antibiotic. when asked for another dose of antibiotic they say they would not give it to us unless they visit (and charge)the kitten. she died today, thank you bay animal hospital. | |
    | | 6/4/14 | I HAD been taking my 3 'furry' family members to Bay Animal Hospital until Dr. Franke (owner/partner) kept trying to push services above and beyond what the appointment was for (he even followed me into the parking lot asking if I needed any Heartguard or Frontline). My puppy, Biscotti James, needed a vaccination booster. I do NOT allow my dogs to get the Lepto vaccine, too many bad side affects and my Mocha (middle child) was proof of that when she swelled up and yelped whenever she was touched.
It was on all three of my dogs files that they were NOT to get this vaccine, but Dr. Franke was too busy trying to sell me other services to notice. He gave my baby Biscotti (about 6 mths old & 3.5#) Lepto without me realizing it.
Three hours later I was rushing back to Bay Animal Hospital so Dr. Baylor could give Biscotti a shot to help alleviate the allergic reaction.
My 'furry' family no longer goes to Bay Animal Hospital. | |
    | | 12/18/10 | I've taken my pets to this vet clinic on several occasions. The vets are knowledgeable and caring. They are not available for after hours emergencies however. Fees are probably typical of most clinics. | |
    | | 12/18/09 | I was charged for services that I did not agree to. Took a cat in to get spayed, while she was there, they pulled a few of her baby teeth, without notifying me first. The teeth will fall out on there own. I found out when I picked up the cat that they put an extra charge on the bill. I asked why they would do something I didn't ask for and wouldn't call me prior to doing it. I was told that they are suppose to call first, but they would not take the charge off the bill. Don't take your animals to the Bay Animal Hospital if you aren't prepared to have extra procedures and charges added to the bill without approval. | | | |
