I’ve been bringing my pets to IRVC for several years. I believe they value my pets as much as I do, and the level of care and treatment is top notch.

We came in for an annual check up and shots for a young GSD. Check up? The dog was never lifted to an exam table and the owner vet never knelt down, never took a stool sample or examined the dog closely. The 2nd visit was not different. Showing up on a Saturday with an eye infection, when the clinic was closed but family members were present, basically earned a brush off. The vet owner wanted to sell us meds I buy on line and offered to "match price." At no point did I get a sense that she was actually interested in my dog or in earning my business. Billing was immediate and "full price." The new bording facility next door is very nice, but pricing is absurd, i.e., a weekend pickup charge plus paying for a full day after 10:00 AM for a dog I wanted to pick up on a Sat. morning. Boarding charges were agressively structured, not just a flat reasonble fee per day. These are my experiences; I am not allowed to discuss what I have been personally told by others using this vet.

I took my 15 mo old cat in for rabies vaccine she had a severe allergic reaction to it, had to go to after hours clinic for treatment. Took her back last week, was kept overnight w/ 105 temp and dehyration. Still is not coming around not eating. She has gone from 7lbs on 8/16 to only 5.1lbs in alittle of 2 wks. Now they won't see us tells me she has no appts, had to go elsewhere. I trusted this vet, but instead they chose to blow us off and hope we seek treatment elsewhere. Did not feel she listened to us when we first took her in, just gave the shots & off we went. This all could have been avoided if she had she maybe have just taken a temp. Now my cat is dying.
