Same thing happened to us as one of their other customers whose dog had died there.12 years as customers. While we were out of town, had a vet call to come get our dying dog after hours seemed annoyed and on the way to the NC state vet hospital called me for my bill payment!!! Don't go there. No compassion and left him in his kennel to die

Both Dr Pearce and Dr Neligon have been nothing but supportive and knowledgeable when it came time to make some important decisions with my aging dog. Because of their compassion, I will continue to recommend them to all of my friends and family.

After 17 years of dedicated service with Lesesville Animal Hospital, I am saddened and hurt by our experience during the passing of our dog. Dr. Pearce had been our dog's vet for 14 years which included boarding services. During a weekend boarding our 14 year old dog passed away in his kennel on a Sunday afternoon prior to the pick up hour they are opened on Sunday. The weekend assistant phone us 30 min before we were to pick him up from boarding telling us the news and that Dr. Pearce told her to call us. We received no follow up call from Dr. Pearce, no condolences, nothing. 17 years as a customer and my beloved pet passes away in their care and he instructs a PT assistant to inform us. Upon arrival to collect our dog's belongings we were presented with a $300 bill which included tests and vaccinations (for a dying dog) that we did not authorize. I am deeply saddened by this experience and lack of compassion Dr. Pearce displayed during a very painful event for my family.
