Friday, I noticed my chihuahua had a huge lump on the side of her face and neck. So I rushed her to the vet. They "glanced" at her charged me $50 and gave me some antibiotics then informed me she needed rush surgery that night and it would cost me $300! I told them I couldn't possibly afford a surgery until Monday and asked if there was anyway they could work with me. They gave me scolding look and scheduled surgery for Monday. Well Sunday I woke up and her face had went down over half what it was. So I took her to a different vet for a second opinion. She had a swollen lymph node, surgery was not at all necessary!!! The antibiotics cleared her right up and she right back to normal! I almost paid $300 and put my dog through an unnecessary surgery!i will never take my pet to north gateway EVER again!!
