my dog made a sudden movement while getting a lime disease shot, the doctor giving the shot--i believe dr guck, let go of the needle and it was left dangling in my puppies leg. this resulted in a huge bump in his leg(this was his second shot, the first went smooth, no swelling. when i brought him back a week later, to show the vet the lump. i was told some dogs have a reaction to the lime shot, this was after hearing one vet say she had never seen a reaction lump so big(its the size of a golf ball)they aspirated it, found the swelling to be caused by the shot and charged me 67 dollars. when i told another vet about the needle mis-hap, she told me that could have caused the lump, but there was no way to prove it, so that is why i was charged, she said the shot was given with proper procedure, hands free shot is proper procedure, and improper restraint-- i thought they were better than this-- they can keep my 67 dollars and my business will go elsewhere.

Dr. Guck is the best veterinarian I have ever taken my pets to. He is extremely thorough and kind. I have not been able to find a vet that can compare and trust me I moved away and have looked and still find he is worth the drive time!
