Feb 2011: we brought our 11 year old female cat for a quick check- up last week... urine tests were done, blood work performed... $220 later, I received a message from Dr. Garcia who mentions high white cells count ... I called back and he confirmed that the blood work showed an usual white cell count, informing me that antibiotics were necessary ($23) and that I would have to confirm results efficiency of the treatment by performing another urine test for $40. Noticing nothing wrong on the blood results which are rather easy to understand (below min, above max), I questioned the white cells as I did not see anything wrong... this is when the Dr. Garcia reverts back to telling me the blood work was good just the urine test came out a little bad... I insisted on the blood vs the urine test and he suddenly asked me if I knew the difference between blood and urine". So, if you do not mind being abused, milked, then you may want to go to Dr. Garcia.
