I have always been happy bring my cats to Broadway, they facility is great and the staff is awesome. The vet doctors that I have worked with there and know are committed to what they do and are great at it. Highly suggest.

On of the finest veterinarians in Portland. I drive from Seattle to have my dogs cared for since 1991 by Duane and his staff. Wonderful facility and people.

Dr. Schaad diagnosed a problem with one of my dogs that the "specialists" did not, after I spent thousands. He is the ONLY vet I use for my three dogs.

I would not recommend Dr. Schaad or anyone else at his clinic besides Dr. Jepson. Most of the staff have not had professional training. They are not completely sterile in their surgeries. I know this because I used to work there. In fact, when they were spaying my cat, they did not put her under anesthesia. They only sedated her and she was waking up while they were suturing her. I was not happy! They also let techs, that have not been to school, perform surgeries. And the worst of all, and the main reason that I quit there, is that I have seen on many occasions, technicians slapping dogs across the face when they do not cooperate. On top of all this, the staff there are very rude and inconsiderate of clients and patients. I worked at another vet clinic for 1 1/2 years before Dr. Schaad's and absolutely loved it. After working at Broadway, I am extremely cautious about where I take my pets. I cannot believe that they are allowed be place in business. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!

Dr. Schaad is great. I've been coming to him for 4 years now, but I always feel the reception staff are unusually rude or abrupt. As a deeply caring pet owner, it's important to me to get good "bedside manner" from ALL staff in this environment, and for a recent life-threatening cat emergency, I just felt all of the front desk staff really fell short on keeping me informed and being generally compassionate. I am seeking a new vet as a result.

Dr. Schaad is great, but specifically request him. Dr Lambert is good with cats.

Dr. Schaad is one of the most experienced veterinarians in Portland. He has extensive field experience and has participated in many non-profit ventures to benefit animal health and education worldwide. His staff is experienced and all the doctors at his practice are practiced and trustworthy. There is probably no other clinic in town where you'll get the most bang for your buck. Prices are exceptionally reasonable and the doctors and staff are honest, trustworthy and friendly. Family oriented atmosphere. Everyone working there has known one-another for a long time.
