I chose this location because it was close to home when my Chihuahua got sick. after a decent wait time my dog was seen and they ran some test. Found out he was diabetic and in ketosis. So I agreed to leave him for the day for fluids and insulin. Saturday I get a call saying he was stable but still vomiting so they recommended leaving him since they would have staff check in on animals. Well apparently he was left on IV fluids the whole time which overwhelmed his body and he went into respiratory failure and basically drowned in his cage all alone and scared. That was sunday evening. I got a call tuesday morning telling me he had died and his record said no one had been notified. I got one voicemail and no missed call on my phone from Dr. Schiebert. I left 3 numbers, email and address. Why didn't she call more than once? When I go to get some answers everyone ignores me and when customers leave they bring my dog out in a box..frozen. As far as im concerned my dog died of negligence.

Absolute disregard for the pets, passive aggressive concerning customer concerns, which then become a complaint. Severe lack of communication and sociopathically negligent concerning inconveniencing patients with unprofessional scheduling and time estimates

Though the care they've rendered for my pets has been adequate, the owner of Shadowridge, Dr Jennifer Shiebert, is overtly ethically challenged. Fairness, honesty, commonly accepted business practices -- these mean nothing to her. You can ask the receptionist all the right questions, and they tell you what you want to hear, but to Dr Shiebert it's all just yak yak yak, after all, why should she be bound by what her employees explicitly state, and put in writing?
If you don't mind dealing with business owners that are as greedy as they are scandalous, they'll probably do ok with your pet, but personally, I wouldn't take my dog there unless he was on fire in their parking lot (and even then I pay with cash or a check, NOT with credit card!)

They had to keep my cats overnight because they got bumped by emergencies. No problem. Brought out one cat with a catheter still in his leg and my other one covered in her own ****. That was my last visit to them.
