I have had three dogs seen at VCA NL, and its prior ownership before VCA. Overall, the Vets (Drs. Hayden, Albert, and Washburn) have all shown compassion, thorough exams, answer all my questions, return my phone calls, and/or initiate a follow up phone call themselves. My 13 year old Westie has had a non-healing corneal abrasion, torn ACL (which I had surgically repaired by an orthopedic specialist on site), and most recently diabetes that had led to bilateral cataracts. At times the prices have been significant, but I can discuss what to do with the vets who are sensitive to costs. I feel very comfortable with their level of training and expertise, and they know when to refer me to a specialists (for the knee surgery, corneal abrasion grid-scratch procedure, & possible cataract surgery). There are times you end up waiting longer than you would like, but it is always because they needed to handle an emergency or spend more time with a pet/owner. I love them, and their manager Pam.
