I took my 10.5 yr old dog here to have her euthanized as she was very sick and weak, losing her ability to walk. The doctor, Dr Bogoslavsky, and his male assistant were extremely brutal with her. She was in no way aggresive or threatening to either of them. I will never understand why I was made to muzzle her and then have them wrestle her to the floor, one of them laid on her back. She was 100 lbs. which is a big dog but not a mean dog in any way. The first injection didn't make her sleepy/relaxed as I was told it would by the receptionist over the phone. I was told that this would be peaceful for her and I would be able to sit with her, hold her. That's not what was offered, it was at best, a horrific nightmare. My dogs final seconds were nothing less than terrifying for both her and I. I've spoken with some other vets and told this is not common precedure. This should never happen to any animal, she was treated like a wild tiger or something.This needs to stop! they can't do this!
