I routinely get my birds wings clipped here and the staff are excellent. The cost is decent and the discussion with the vet is always informative. Would refer anyone to this clinic.

Bill Mingram and the other vets and staff are outstanding! They take the time to make our beagle/basset hound Domi feel at ease before doing anything and they take the time to answer all questions and do not push anything on you. The most caring animal hospital I have ever dealt with

I started taking my dog to them about 5 years ago. They are very good and are always super friendly and they usually remember my dog by name (mainly because he's unique-looking and in there so much) Dr Bill and Jackie are amazing with him and the front staff are always very friendly and love to come out and pet my dog. I got a new puppy recently and I will definitely be taking her there because they are so friendly and good with the animals. Everyone I know takes their pets to them and I have never heard one bad thing about this clinic.

I have used this vet clinic as the primary care location for all of my pets pretty much since they've opened. The clinic always runs on good time (give or take 5 minutes) and they are always friendly. Our dog even gets excited to see Dr. Mingram when we get in! They try their best to avoid unnecessary medications and/or expenses, and on occasion have told us some over-the-counter remedies (basic stuff only, like ear irritation). We gladly refer all of our friends and family here, everytime we're asked!

The staff is very rude and actually ignored me while they were having a personal conversation. They also actually gave me prescription medicine without any the vet's instructions on the label. When I took it back they acted like there was no problem and made me feel like I was a complainer. I totally expected better from this clinic as it was recommended to me, but will not go back.

This review is for my visitation with my cats. They are pretty good with my exotics. I had Dr. Ursula, and for an annual cat exam, she did not ask if the cats were indoor/outdoor cats, and administered a 1 year rabies shot, when our cats were still good with a 3 year shot they had the previous year. They also did not get the additional vaccines they did at other clinics, which they were due for, and the reason for our visit. The exam cost about the same as other clinics, but we receieved a physical and 1 year rabies shot VS a physical, a 3 year rabies shot, 2 additional vaccines, deworming medication and feces analysis, and a multi-cat discount. Come here with your exotics, take your cats somewhere else.

I began bringing my dogs to the clinic in January of 2012. I had no issues with Dr Bill or the staff until today. I, sadly, had to bring my dog in today to be euthanized. I was told the cost to be $225, based upon the dogs weight. When I met with the vet, he explained the procedure to me.. or so I thought. He told me about giving my dog a shot to relax him, then putting in a shaft and finally administering the fatal. He explained how having the dog relaxed made the final procedure less stressful. This is more humane and makes sense. Of course this is all upsetting to me. We go through the procedure and I go to pay..I am then told the cost is $305. I ask why the difference and I am told "well we gave your dog the extra needle" (the relaxing shot). I of course paid and left still reeling from losing my dog. But as the day has worn on I realized.. I was taken advantage of during my time of grief. SHAME ON YOU DR. BILL

I have been taking my dog there for anal gland expression regularly and was paying much higher cost compared with any other clinics around the area. My dog had a cystitis which was diagnosed from other clnic since The doc in clarington was not sure what his problem was even after the urinalysis. They want me to do more tests and the charge is so much higher than other vets. They put him on antibiotics which I told him my kg doesn't react to it, they still wouldn't change. Of course it didn't work, I had to get a second opinion else where. I was there 2 days before my visit for my dog's bladder problem. They still charge me $52 dollars for visitation while I just paid $37 dollars for anal gland. They never notice or care if my dog has other problems. I wasted 170 bucks or a completely useless vet visit with wrong medicines, inconclusive urine test and examination charge which only involve 3 seconds of doc touching my dog's tummy. I am seriously disappointed. I am caning vet for good.

Amazing vets. Awesome front staff. I have a cat with issues and they always call to check up on her to see how she is doing. Brought my rabbit in for surgery and they were great with him. Would recommend this clinic to anyone looking.

The few times I have been to this clinic I have found them to be very rude at front desk. I mostly go in to pick up food and when I call ahead to order, one girl there is very rude and short with me on the phone. Even when I pick up the food it is as if I don't deserve decent service because I'm only picking up dog food and not there with my dog for an appointment. I've had much better experiences at other clinics.

The staff are knowledgeable about small animals and their information is up to date and accurate. On top of that, they are very friendly and compassionate. I've had excellent experiences here with my small exotics (hedgehogs and guinea pigs) and have paid less here than I have with some less experienced vets. I definitely recommend this clinic for owners of small animals.

I brought my dog to this clinic because I was concerned about her rapid weight gain. The vet immediately wanted to sell me their expensive diet food, without running any tests nor examining my dog. I took my dog to another clinic who ran tests and found out my dog had thyroid problems. Very disappointed with this clinic as I expected better. Will not go back.

Dr Bill, Dr Ursla have been amazing with all of my birds, Ringo, Scooter, Buddy, Joey, Gizmo and Pita wouldn't be alive without their excellent help. All of my birds have health issues and are rescues. Everyone who works here have been the absolute best. I would never trust their care to anyone else. Everyone here is professional and extremely caring, the compassion for the animals and owners is amazing.

I had a pet die on the table due to having a heartattack from the poor handling. The next animal I took their was septic and was passing and they just gave us an antibiotic and said they would be fine. The animal also had a huge absess but the vet didn't notice it at all,it was later diagnosed by the vet who euthanized him.The animal didn't even make it home before having a stroke and had to be put down at another clinic. Very very dissapointed.

Have been a client for over 13 years. Dr. Mingram is patient and explains issues and possible resolutions in laymans terms. He will recommend a specialist if it is required. The veterinary assistants are the greatest. Our dog has multiple health issues and the care has been top notch.

Dr Mingram is the best vet ever. We were 'patients' of his from 1993 to when we moved away a couple years ago and followed him from a couple of clinics til he opened his own. He goes out of his way to ensure that the best treatment is given at the most reasonable cost. When our dog needed fairly regular antibiotics, he always wrote a script and told us to go to our pharmacist as getting the pills from him would be more expensive. As a vet and as a caring man, Dr M is the best and I miss him everyday now that we live in a new province and can't find a vet of his caliber.
