Click to report rating    7/16/08 Dr Sprague saw my cat she diagnosed him wrong after i old her the cat was lethargic she gave a steroid injection later that week he worsened i took him back she charged me another 1000. to diagnose him again and realized he was diabetic and that steroid injection almost killed him she then sent me to a ER vet who made him better but it cost almost 3000. more and had she diagnosed him correctly on the first visit it would have cost me ab out 300. I think shes the worst vet ever and should be striped of her medical license. RID: 9345
Click to report rating    10/30/07 When my dog was neutered I spoke the the actual vet just before leaving and asked if I had to do anything else. She said no, so I left. Minutes later the secretary called saying I owed over $150. I asked why, since I had the Wellness Plan. She said they had given me flea, tick, and heartworm meds in my bag. I told her I had not asked for them and did not need them, as I had ordered them online and my dog had been on them for two months. I told her I wanted a refund. She said that wasn't possible. Needless to say, I got my refund. My dog had Giardia (which I had to INSIST on testing for, they wanted to just do prescription food). Banfield charged me $27.50 for a 7 day supply. My new vet figured out that my dog was not treated long enough and gave me 14 days of the exact same meds for $7. When the diarrhea still hadn't cleared Banfield's next step was a biospy. My new vet is treating him for the Giardia again, and if that doesn't work, has a 6 month plan before ever doing a biopsy. RID: 6313
