I have been using this animal clinic and vet Dr, Sandhu & partners for a few years now. 2 cats 1 dog so far so good. My daughter has also used his practise too for her 4 cats and 1 dog

Dr. Sandu has saved our dogs lift twice now! His rates are affordable and he really does care about our dog. We are eternally grateful to him!

Best clinic and vet in town. I took my sick dog to the clinic, entire staff was very polite and professional. The vet did a complete exam and assured me that my little princess will be fine and the next day she start to get better. Unless like other clinics he disnt for me into getting blood work done without any reason. Thankyou doc. Love this clinics and i recommend it to everyone

Yes, their prices are affordable unlike other vets, and the reception was fine, but the veterinarian's service quality is horrible! The vet I have received twice when I visited always seems to be in a rush to leave, even when there are no other patients waiting. I brought my dog in for a second time for an unusual bald spot. Everytime I asked a question he would rush his answer saying she's fine, it does not look like anything, or just put this ointment on even though it does not look like an infection - doesn't take the time to inform pet owners of what is really going on with their pet, which is one reason we go to vets in the first place! He didn't even check her vitals, heart rate, teeth, and eyes to see her overall health until I asked him! I DO NOT trust their word at all when it comes to serious medical advice and procedures, so please avoid if you can. I question whether they genuinely care about our pets in the first place from the lack of service quality they provide.

Please AVOID this place!
They must have their licence revoked!
So many pets have died because of them.If you look at the reviews you'll find that after receiving a surgery, such as neutering/spaying or any other from them, pets died from internal bleeding, had infections, and/or they've never been the same since. Many others have been diagnosed with the wrong conditions and unnecessary treatments.
I cannot believe that after all this time this place is still in business. More and more people report horrible incidents with this clinic.

AVOID North East Animal Clinic at ALL cost!It wasn't cheap as others said.They also look at money.For shots, yes I agree they are cheaper, but for spayed or neutered, please go somewhere else.I brought my small dog to have her spayed.A day after the operation, she died because of internal bleeding.How can a so-called VETERINARIAN can mess up on spay?!I spent almost $700 for the spay, medicines & other stuff that the vet said she needs after the surgery. Please, if you love your dog, find another vet.When I was at the vet’s waiting room, all I heard from other pet owners that this place is the cheapest you can find in the city.Some even drove all the way from Okotoks and Airdrie.I went here because it's convenience & close to my home.I wonder if they even gave her the right medicine since the receptionist gave wrong instruction, I had to correct her and then she had to actually read the label on the meds.I'm broken hearted and I hope my experience will be a warning for other pet owners.

THE MOST CARING STAFF AND VET EVER! They are truly not in it for the money period!! Here is my story so far:
I have a sick pregnant Yorkie who is in her 6 week. I began to notice that she was not eating very well and closely monitored her over the weekend. She became increasingly less active and not eating. I was beyond worried about her. She is my baby and is my little family!!
I began to start phoning around for a Vet that was in close proximity to my home (as I did not want to stress her out by long car rides.) After a few calls I found this absolute Clinic from Heaven!!! Pricing, attitude, professionalism, and the list goes on and on!!!!
Dr.Ashwani, Sarah & Lisa were above amazing with me!! My first contact was Lisa , by phone, who answered all of my concerns and quoted me a price that was unbelievable!! She was just awesome! Due to the nature of my situation (urgent) she put me right through to the Dr. I got in immediately..best Vet ever!!!Concerned for the pets not $

I HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS CLINIC FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS. I HAVE GOT EXCELLENT CARE FROM THE DOCTORS. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS HELPFUL AND CARING EXCELLENT SERVICE. I HAVE RECOMMEND ALOT OF PEOPLE HERE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK EVERYONE. REBECCA PRASAD

This vet is awful, my dog has had a bad ear infection to which was diagnosed at another vet...for months the northeast clinic had her on meds she did not need! They also almost gave her some kind concoction of god knows what kind of shots that we were not even there for... Cheap is not always the way to go if you want good care for your pets! Also, the staff at the front are annoying and unprofessional! I would not recommended this vet to anyone. Your supposed to trust these "professionals" with your beloved pets....sad to know that some of them are simply just there for a pay check..

HORRIBLE. No manners. We took our 1.5 year old female german shepherd here to be spayed. She had no previous health issues prior to the surgery. When we picked her up they did not give us any pain medication or antibiotics (my previous dogs have recieved both after being fixed) They also did not give us all the info. Didnt tell us to avoid walking her for a few days, or avoid jumping, playing, stairs, ect. However I already knew this so we avoided it all.
4 days after her surgery she stopped eating, having bowel movements and did not seem to be drinking as much water as usual. We monitored her for a few days and then took her into the vet. Long story short, she was internally bleeding because Dr Sandhu did not tie her up properly inside after the surgery. She ended up passing away that night from blood loss.
Once confronted about his poor work he argued and did not accept responsibility and refused to return our money for the surgery.

The prices here are great, and the vet is good too. My dog was really sick and needed lots of blood work, I was so worried about the price, but it turned out to be way less than I thought.

I would only go here for basic things like shots and deworming. Dr.sandhu is very nice in my experience but hard to understand! This clinic is really really inexpensive and that's why I went here for years. I am now going to beddinton trail animal hospital as they are only a tad more expensive but much nicer staff, cleaner facilities and more professional. What made me switch is that I had my dogs anal gland removal surgery there and took him back for a recheck twice within the first three days cause I was concerned and the vet assured me it was healing propery. It was NOT. My dog had ripped out all his stitches and the wound was infected. I had to pay another vet to do the surgery properly and my dog was in extreme discomfort for a prolonged period. I would avoid this place and pay the few extra dollars for an experienced vet

Would only go bad for small things like shots and dewormer. After my cat had surgery the did not recommend a cone or any pain meds I had to take my cat into a emergency clinic because he was in pain and had an infection.

These people are awful after theybstopped calling my cat a dog they put her upside down with no warning while I had my hands on her and rammed his fingers in my cat , she then ripped my hand apart and I had got get 12 stitches unknowledgeable rude and very unsanitary thumbs down for these people

I am very happy with this vet clinic. I have brought 3 of my dogs for vaccinations, all had their spay/neuters, 1 for porcupine quill removal, lumpectomy, and one diagnosed with EPI. EPI is not all that common and the enzymes they make for dogs would have cost several hundred a month. I did my research and presented my findings and they were very receptive to it. She was given an Rx for Creon 10 (human meds) and is doing fantastic!! I am so glad I found this clinic. The costs are so reasonable. At my other vets to do quill removal was about $200. LESS!! Very refreshing and so much less stress walking into the vets :) Mary-Jane

We have been taking our animals here for over 7 years. We used to go to another overpriced vet and am very glad we switched. Yes, Dr. Sandhu can be hard to understand sometimes, but he has the well being of the animal in his heart at all times. We have recommended several of our friends to see him and all were greatly impressed with him. Our last vet bill is what surprised us the most. Two dogs and a cat for their annual checkup with shots and deworming cost us less than $200 total. HIGHLY recommend this clinic to those looking for an affordable vet to care for their animals.

I went to this vet because its close to my house and since I have 5 pets vet care can be very expensive since 2 of them are getting up there in their years. I find the facilities to be aged but the care to be top. The vet doesn't prescribe anything that is unneeded and the staff are really, really nice, and very knowledgeable! when i brought a found kitten into the office for a check up the front desk lady told me his age based on his teeth! :)

Dr Sandhu I visited bc my dog would not stop puking. He did not have any reason for the puking that it could be and he just said to come back if my dog keeps vommitting which it did and I took my dog back the next day and the doctor had a strong accent which I did not quite understand. I did get that he wanted to hospitalize my dog but because he is not there 24hr a day I asked if he would run the blood tests and X-ray and let me take the dog home with the IV fluids so I can watch her 24/7. He went bellistic and started screaming and slamming doors. When I said I didn't understand his accent he yelled again at me. His receptionist was very kind and tried to "cool him down". But this Dr. Sandhu scared the living hell out of me. Never again will I go there and AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

My dog had a large lump which needed to be removed and after a vet bill of $900 for 3 dogs annuals and meds at a vet I had used for 10 years, it was time to shop my business. Dr Shandhu removed the lump, my bill all in was just over $400 where it would have been 3 times that at my old vet. The staff are freindly and caring and although the facility is old it is clean and well kept.

AWFUL, My cat walked out of there in pain, he had to have his leg stitched up and the vet didnt get him any type of pain killers, the stitches looked terrible and there was no sympathy when I went in to find out why my cat couldnt stand on his leg. Sure this place is cheap but the vet is a jerk. Had to go to a seperate vet, after the vet waved his hand in my face telling me I was wrong, to find out my cat wasnt given anything for pain.

I waited 50 minutes past the scheduled appointment to have 3 stitches removed from my dog's recent surgery, which they preformed. The waiting room was dirty; the floor was urine stained and **** on the floor near the weigh scale. Not once was I told why the long wait. I was the only customer in the waiting area. I spoke to the attending Vet expressing my concerns and advised her that Molly would not be returning to this clinic. Her response floored me " That's fine". No explanation, no apology. Which means no future business from me.

I always take my dogs to this clinic, they assisted me recently with my two senior dogs in their end of life chapter,very caring and professional, my current dog a (German Short Hair) also goes there, the staff is always welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. Pam

We have had our dog for 4 years, and have only ever taken her to this vet.We would not take her anywhere else, the staff is great with her, and they are always good at answering my questions, both in person, and on the phone. When ever we go, the Vet makes sure we understand 100% as to whats going on, even if that means he has to tell us more than once or twice. Very good place to take your pets!

Dr.Sandhu is very caring & capable, over 25 years exp. Staff , especially Lisa, are helpful, sypmathetic, knowledgeable. Pricing so far has been substantially less than that of other locals. They've assisted me for about 2 years (with 3 dogs)including annual shots, diagnosis, health maintenance, prescriptions. (I have seniors.) This past May my eldest (rescue) went to Rainbow Bridge with their kind care. I do recommend this clinic (in Pineridge Plaza on Rundlehorn NE). Bev
