Click to report rating    4/1/10 Just wanted to warn everyone, stay away from here! if you dont want your dog put to sleep! Without Dr.Hurley and Dr.Force not being there, its not worth coming here. Go somewhere else.! Please! RID: 17338
Click to report rating    1/5/10 They have several bad reviews, and I'm confused as they are AAHA accredited. ? I've only been once, but they didn't impress me. Ignored my specific written boarding info, including my phone # and left a msg on someone else's machine, also said they never recv'd either of 2 msgs I placed regarding a date change to pick up my pets. Even though the answering service (& that guy was rude)may have relayed the wrong phone #, I'd written it in at least 3 places for Stafford. Due 2 that & other evidence, I think they ignored ALL written instructions including my pets' dietary needs. The girls at desk were nice, but nice isn't enough when it comes to my pets' well being. Again I ask, how did they get AAHA accredited? RID: 16026
Click to report rating    6/20/09 DO NOT bring an injured animal of any type into this joint. They'll just prod you to see how much money they can get out of you (who can afford 870$ to treat a feral you find on the road, who's face is bashed all to hell???). At one time they would take animals who were injured, and simply ask for a donation. No more. They're looking to get every last nickel they can out of someone. There's a place in Linwood (did I spell that right) near Atlantic City, and also in Red Bank (Monmouth County) that takes injured strays, turtles, etc. I can't speak for Linwood (not yet) but Red Bank Veterinarian Hospital seems to be the place to go. I had to drive this poor cat up there yesterday, after getting hit w/an office visit fee from Stafford ?? TOLD them from the getgo I was unemployed and didn't have much money to spare - didn't matter). The people are in general unpleasant, and as so often is the case in South Jersey, "hungry" and suspicious of everyone and everything. Find somewhere else to go RID: 13236
Click to report rating    6/25/08 If you can't get in to see Dr. Hurley or Dr. Force, simply DO NOT GO THERE. There is a major overturn of staff; the fees are outrageous. They are good in emergencies, I'll give them that, but you pay through the nose. Also, don't bother with their grooming service; I paid for it too many times and the animals' ears were always left dirty. As a matter of fact, 3 days after their groomer saw my dog, I had to bring the dog in for an ear infection. The ear that wasn't afflicted was the one a vet (not the ones mentioned above) commented on as being "absolutely filthy." I told her that it was their groomer who'd done the dog that week, and I wish I'd had a camera with me to capture the vet's look of disgust. Again, if you're in a pinch and have no alternatives, go here, but make sure you get Drs. Hurley or Force. RID: 9029
Click to report rating    4/19/08 Their fees for services are absolutely sky high - the girls at the desk are the worst, you have to wait until they finish their chat before attending to you - the 'technicians' couldn't care less about your pet - the whole operation there is strictly monetary - when they make up an 'estimate' for services, they are four times higher than a 'persons' bill at there doctor - the left hand does not know what the right is doing - the doctors have no idea whatsoever about how screwed up their staff is and over charging! RID: 8176
Click to report rating    2/12/08 I took my puppy here once, and not only did they charge me a new pet fee, but they barely even looked at her...i can't really understand how I paid for the visit let alone the new patient fee. The vet gave her a shot, and that was it...did not listen to her heart, clean her ears, clip her nails...nothing. RID: 7280
Click to report rating    11/23/07 Very unhappy with the care my cat received when drops were put in his ears and now when he shakes his head when walking he stumbles and looses his balance, this is still happining after a week. He also contracted a cold after the visit, possibly due to the examination room not being cleaned after the previous patient. I do not recommend this vet office. RID: 6472
