My dog has been seeing Dr Ramzy since he was a puppy and always a good experience. All checkups and routine care costs are within reasonable ranges - and he takes the time to explain which are necessary versus optional. My dog has only had two major non-routine issues so far, both were handled well.

I disagree with the two below comments. Firstly, it is the doctor's responsibility to care for your pet. Quite pathetic if you ask me, complaining about the doctor's concern to do more tests- that shows concern and care. secondly, sales's man? Really? If you're troubled with your pets expenses then why do you have a pet in the first place? As for your racist comments, It goes to show the Doctor's professionalism allowing students/interns to volunteer - it's Canada - Of course everyone is an immigrant, I'm sure you are one too - have respect for those who have difficulty speaking english. I believe there is a receptionist and his wife working together all the time. Refrain from such false information being posted online. I respect this doctor and nothing you said is true.

He definitely is a salesman more than a caring doctor. My dog was in a severe condition and i was asked to do 3 different tests which i did. Then he asked to do more, which only gave the same result over and over again; nothing else to help my little one. I was only asked to do more test for more than two weeks. I finally decided to go see other vet and got immediate help, which actually helped the dog and myself. Also, I didn't feel very helped my his assistances who were always students/interns. I do not think I will ever bring my dog again.

I completely agree with the comment below. He is a salesman and it shows tooooo much. Also some of his staff do not understand English. I am not planning on going back to this clinic.

First off, I'd like to say that these other reviews are most likely fraudulent. They sound like they were written by the staff at the clinic. While not terrible, my experience at this clinic was not the A++ described in these reviews. The staff and the doctor are friendly- this much is true. However, this vet is a salesman, first and foremost. After an hour at the clinic the doctor had recommended a wide array of treatments and vaccines for what we discovered was a perfectly healthy cat. He also prescribed medication with very little plausible explanation. Finally, I was most irritated at the fact that I wasn't shown an invoice (while I was in the office). At the end of the check-up, the receptionist simply told me I owed X amount of money, and then acted irritated when I began asking questions. Professionals make sure their customers see plain and clear what they are paying for. A failure to do so is bad business. This vet doesn't overcharge, he just squeezes out as much as he can.

A++++! Dr. Ramzy is a wonderful vet who is straight forward and incredibly professional. The environment at the office is welcoming and the examining rooms are spotless. All staff members and interns I've met have been just as helpful and very friendly! Perhaps the most important point is that Dr. Ramzy will repeat instructions and confirm with you that you understand the procedure as well as instructions post-appointment. He is a VETERINARIAN and not a SALESMAN unlike many clinics in the area.

We just took our kitten to Dr. Ramzy and it was one of, if not the best visits I've had to a vet! Starting with his staff, his receptionists were both very friendly and welcoming, and very informative when I called before for pricing info and when my boyfriend called to make an appointment. Dr. Ramzy was very friendly, and knowledgeable. He has a way of examining an animal while still being playful. Our kitten is only 9 weeks, so we're looking forward to a long lasting relationship with Dr. Ramzy and with Church Yonge Animal Clinic.
