I had to have my rescue Duck humanely euthanized. They claimed to have an avian vet who worked there. They would not allow me to hold him while he passed. They would not allow me to go into the back where they claimed they were going to humanely euthanize him. They did not allow me to be there holding him in his last moments. He was in such pain I had no choice but to have it done immediately. This was the most compassionate-less thing I ever saw a vet do to a human being and their feathered family member. Not only to myself but to my dear friend "Ducky" who should not have been with strangers in his last moments. It was a cruel thing to do to us and inhumane

After waiting 40 minutes on the first appointment of the day, I cancelled my appointment, and only then was I informed they were with an emergency. They did not have the courtesy to inform me of the delay. I find this unprofessional. I also find it unprofessional that staff eats breakfast at the counter.

Since i adopted my dog i have used Dr. Savino and his staff, Dr. savino was/is very thorough, also is Dr. Tomms. She was diagnosed with chd and very often couldnt walk well. he has rried a few things besides surgery which seemed to help a great deal. she runs, plays, but still does favor her left hip. he actually said he wouldnt want to operate seeing her walk as good as she is. ultimatley he will have to down the rd. he didnt jump into the expensive surgery and that tells me he isnt money hungry and was out more for the dogs well being. The wait is sometimes extremely long and i sometimes want to reschedule but after seeing him (apologizing for the wait) i realized he was talking with me a good 20 minutes. i guess that why we wait, he took the time. i do highly recommend him and his staff

Dr. Savino has been our family vet forever, but his whole clinic is spectacular. All the staff are friendly and take good care of the animals. The doctors are excellent, particularly Dr. Savino and his daughter Dr. Thoms. I brought my cat in for the first time in a loooong time (at least 6 or 7 years) and he recognized her before picking up her chart. :) Their prices are very reasonable, and they offer a discount of 25% on vaccines for people fostering puppies and kittens for adoption. If you're fostering independently or in association with a group that can't cover all the shots, this is a big help.
