Dr. Ronow, was actually great (hence 2 stars). My issue is with the clinic. Meds that were prescribed were 33% more expensive than on line. I asked for a prescription & was told there would be a $25 fee, albeit a one time fee. Also bloodwork HAD to be done yearly and had a $35 "withdrawl fee" above & beyond the cost of the bloodwork. We asked the owners to waive the scrip fee but they refused. I decided to go elsewhere and drove to Barrie to a vet I've seen previously. The bloodwork was 39% less than what I had been quoted and I was given the option of only having the kidney bloodwork done that was required for the meds which would be a 72% savings. Also, the same scrip cost similar to the on-line cost. I feel this clinic only thinks about making money which is foolish..they lost a potential customer (ongoing $$) and got a bad review (potential loss of $$) over a $25 fee. Had they waived it I would not have realized how costly they were. Hopefully they learn something from this post.

Our beloved pet,Max,recently succumbed to a heart attack. Brought him to Campbell Vet (our usual vet) where the staff made a superhuman effort to revive her.Dr. Monica and staff were extremely sympathetic, mindful and professional in dealing with us and our 8 1/2 year old furry family member. They were mindful of costs and thorough in offering us various choices regarding cremation of Max. We are very blessed to have found this vet clinic in Brampton...Thank you Dr.Monica and staff.

I HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME CUSTOMERS WITH DR.CAMPBELL DATING BACK TO THE LATE 1990'S.DR DERMOT CAMPBELL GOD REST HIS SOUL WAS A PERSONAL FRIEND OF MINE AND A LONG TIME LOVING CARING "GENTLE GIANT" THAT LOVED ANIMALS.EVER SINCE THE NEW VET DR LIZ OSTRANDER TOOK OVER IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY AS INDICATED IN 22MAY 2013 CLIENTS COMMENTS. MY BELOVED YELLOW LAB RETRIEVER HAD EXPERIENCED LUMPS ON HER BODY ONLY TO BE TOLD BY DR OSTRANDER THAT IT WAS FATTY LUMPS DUE TO HER BEING 11 YEARS OLD. IT TURNED OUT THAT ONE OF THE LUMPS WAS CANCEROUS STAGE TWO AND VERY DEADLY.DR OSTRANDER WAS TO PERFORM THE SURGERY REMOVAL BUT CHARGED ME FOR A BIOPSY INSTEAD AS THE ISSUE WAS TOO COMPLEX. SHE DID NOT REFER ME TO ANOTHER VET OR SPECIALIST JUST BILLED ME A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF EXPENSE. LUCKY I FOUND A VET THAT PERFORMED THE SURGERY AS SHE WOULD HAVE PASSED MAY 2017. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS VET AS SHE HAS NO COMPASSION FOR PEOPLE OR THEIR BELOVED FURRY FAMILY MEMBERS.ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! NO FOLLOW UPCAL

Dr. Ostrander is an amazing vet ! my animals love her to death and her staff are amazing! I have never had an issue with them. I have a 9 year old dog with a lot of medical issues and was very unhappy with the way other vets dealt with them. Dr.Ostrander always gives her honest opinion and does her best to help in anyway she can. She really cares for each and every animal with respect and love.

I loved Dr. Campbell, wonderful man who was wonderful with my pets. The new doctor was never a great fit. I found everything I asked was looked down upon, every inquiry I had resulted in same phrase 'well you should bring your pet in' for a $70+ fee....this is after original appts where the issue was never fixed, only masked with expensive meds. One issue that went on for 2 yrs! At one point I had 4 pets with them and had referred 2 other clients to them so I was providing good business but I don't like to me money gauged, especially since Dr. Campbell was the opposite of this, he genuinely loved the animals. I ended up leaving and going to another local vet who is amazing and in one visit diagnosed/treated/cured my pets 2yr ailment. The only bright light at this clinic is Michelle who always treated us right. I also didn't appreciate making an appt expecting Dr. Ostrander only to arrive and find another new vet 'filling in'. As pet parents we should know who is treating our kids.

I will start by saying that my experience with this clinic is limited to one visit but at the worst possible time. My 20 yr old cat needed to be put to rest. This was my first contact with this clinic and they were wonderful. I called a few times with questions and to make the appointment. Each time I called, I was in tears to the point of having difficulty speaking. They were so kind, and so compassionate. The rate was very fair and was much less than a couple other places I called. The day of my vet visit, they were better than I could have ever hoped for. I stayed in the room with my cat till the very end. The vet and both assistants that I dealt with really made me feel at ease as much as possible during such an emotional and devastating time. They were gentle and sweet with my cat, they handled him like he was their own.

Dr. Campbell was an amazing vet and man, always treated me and my animals with respect. Dr. Ostrander has a kind heart and is a good fit to the practice. My dog became very ill and was in really bad shape. She did everything to help her and yes it cost me some money but my baby is worth it! Dr.O even took her home with her so she wouldn't be left alone in her condition and now she is doing fantastic! I thank Dr. O and the staff for being so caring during a difficult time!

Dr. Campbell was an amazing and compassionate vet! We are so sorry to hear of his passing as he truly cared about our pets. Shauna is a wonderful person and always smiled and helped in everyway she could! I'm am very unimpressed with the new vet Dr. Ostrander, she discounted all that Dr. Campbell did and wanted to run tests and have surgeries for things that are unnecessary. She is only in it for the money and not for your pets well being. We are finding a new vet and you should too.

Dr. Campbell was the best vet I've ever been to. He even tried to talk me out of getting a procedure done that would make him more money because he genuinely believed it was not necessary. The new vet that took over is a complete rip off. They hiked up the prices for regular check ups and I wasn't even notified prior to my appointment. On top of that I just felt like they were pushing services on me that Campbell never mentioned or felt were necessary. Needless to say, I will be switching vets. Dr. Campbell will be missed.

Dr Campbell was awesome and so was his staff but since he died and the new vet took over it is very clear she is only in it for the money and will nickel and dime you to death. Will be finding another vet who actually cares about animals like Dr Campbell did.

we had been a client of Dr Campbell's for over 20 years. may i say that the staff and Dr. Campbell were wonderful and caring. he did not overchanrge and you could always depend on him for advise. he was not in it for the money. he always let you know what needed to be treated and he was truley concerned about the animals. since dr Campbells passing, the new vets are only in it for the money. they overcharge and wont continue regimates that dr campbell had our dog on without many tests and expenses we could not afford. i am truly sorry that i had to leave, but my dogs need to be treated by someone who i can trust. i have paid more in the last few months that i did in the last 15 years for vet bills without resolution. they are only in it for the money now. shauna is truly a wonderful person and i will miss seeing her very much after all these years.

I loved Dr. Campbell and was so sad to hear of his passing but am pleased that the new vet, Dr. Ostrander, is as caring and compassinate as Dr. Campbell was. One of the few small animal vets that doesn't try to gauge you for money and the support staff are knowledgeable and caring. I am going thru issues with my dog that have been major and going on for several weeks and they are always willing to talk me thru it on the phone and comfort me, unlike other vets who are only interested in talking to you if you book another pricey exam. I think Dr. Campbell would be pleased at the practice that still bears his good name.

Dr Campbell was one of the nicest vets I have ever been to. Very good with my little girl, she loved him and she didn't like very many vets. It is my sad regret that he passed in March of 2012 and he will be sorely missed.

He is out of date with his medicine and anesthetics. Cheap, yes, but not worth the pittance you pay. I would never go back! Run far, far away!

Dr.Campbell is awesome, hope he never retires. Only vet I've found that doesn't try to rip you off. The only compliant I have is with the receptionist. They keep charging me the wrong prices using a calculator, not a cash register, and then they literally called me the next day to tell me they undercharged me and I had to pay the rest at my next appt. How unprofessional is that? It's not my fault I was undercharged, it was my first visit. Anyway, the VET is amazing and that's what counts.

I love Dr. Cambell... He is a great vet that isn't going to rip you off like 75% of the others. He cares about your animals and he tries to help you out. He also won't make un needed re check up appointments. I feel like this is one of the best vets in Brampton. He has been great with my pets.

I've been using Dr Campbell's services for about 20 years. He is such a caring vet, patient and understanding....a real animal lover! His staff, Amanda and Shauna, are always very pleasant and helpful, a great asset to his practice. Rates are very reasonable. A+
