My 7 mo. puppy was extremely ill. I took him to the Veterinary Emergency Referral Center which is owned by DR. DAVID BORDELON. The 1st time I took him was at 1:30a.m. and DR. TAKALO examined him. He was there 4 hrs and she told me to pick him up at 7:30a.m.. She charged $600.00, never took x-rays and my vet didn't even open until 9:00. When it did open they told me he needed emergency surgery or he could die. Irushed him back to the ER Center where I encountered DR. DAVID BORDELON. I was so upset that my little puppy might die and as soon as DR. BORDELON walked in I asked him if he had seen the x-rays. I was in complete disbelief that DR. BORDELON didn't immediately jump into action with the care and compassion that I thought any medical professional should have. He cared more that I had called his peer "a quack" and insisted I had to "TRUST" all his peers or he couldn't treat my pet. If you expect COMPASSION, CARING AND YOUR PET BE A #1 PRIORITY, DO NOT GO HERE!!!

obviously the facility is only interested in your money and will say and use whatever tactics they can to do that. They are not interested in your animal, only your wallet. The personality of Dr. Lindagood is horrible, may she never need emergency medical treatment that costs more than she can afford out of pocket and has to be turned away for help. That would be poetic justice!

Uncaring and rude staff. Delayed treatment which led to the death of my pet. Extortionists - should be illegal.

Their prices are extreme.. but a necessary evil. Just knowing they are there and how well equipped they are makes me feel better. But I did have to be there when a person was turned down for having no money and it broke my heart to watch her leave. I'd have pitched in but was standing there with an emergency myself.

Not only outrageous pricing, but not even consistent, I was charged two different prices on two different days for the very same medication. In addition, Dr. Gibbs treated my cat and then failed to issue the prescription for antibiotics that she said he needed when he was released making him sicker, requiring a longer recovery and putting my cat through unnecessary suffering.
