I have always found the people at the Pound Ridge Vet Center to be of the highest quality and the most caring of practitioners. They have cared for our cats and dogs with great kindness and a high sense of responsibility. Our first dog lived to 19.5 years under their care, even after she was hit by a car and had to have a back leg amputated. Dr. Kaddatz did such a fine job she continued to go on long hikes with us for years after the surgery. Our current dog is only walking because of the skill Dr. Kaddatz used to repair torn ACLs on both back legs (a genetic predisposition in Labs.) The death of an animal friend is always hard...and one's first instinct is to look for someone to blame...but you folks have chosen the wrong target. I am sorry for your losses, but the character assassination of an excellent doctor will not bring back your friend. Justin Friedland, Pound Ridge.

BAD VET KILLED MY DOG. INEPT, MISDIAGNOSIS LED TO THE UNTIMELY DEATH OF MY DOG. And they do overcharge (gave my dying dog a rabies booster). He had Lyme and two other bacterial infections, yet they neglected to take blood and sent him home with out any antibiotic. HE DIED TWO DAYS LATER. GO TO THE VET. HOSPITAL IN BEDFORD HILLS, you might even pay less there, and they are highly skilled, and have resources for any emergency.
