i went to this vet on a referal for low cost neutering for my cat.($50) my husband dropped him off that morning and told them to "check the cat out"he had a sore on his face and to let us know what was going on. the vet took that as do the exam.($50)without calling us first).when i picked him up i was told$175 for antibiotics and what they did to his face.they said my husband told them to do whatever it took (they took that as money was not an issue.i told them this is why people dont go to vets because they add on fees without telling you. the recep and vet nurse laughed at me. they said i don't know what your complaing about neutering usually cost $175. they didnt communicate anything to us on costs, they did their procedures and said now its already been done now u have to pay. i told them this is a terrible wasy to do business. they said "do u expect procedures to be free" i said no but call us first before you do anything. terrible attitude and to be laughed at to top it off.
